maybe a strain reacts to a certain nutrient (which is highly unlikely) in which case it would still be a strain thing.

Wow I didn't realize the thread had taken off so much. The strain is SS early bud and a few of the others in the crop have started to go pink aswell. I dont expect a harvest until atleast mid october. As far as I can tell... the colour started to appear when the nights started to get cooler.

The plant started out indoors I'm expecting about 8 oz of the pink stuff :blsmoke:

I have up to date pics if anyone is interested.

you guys are all idiots if you growing in canada it gets cold nights like a lot of places in the world which well freeze your pistols and slowly turn them purple... goes pinky to purple..nothing to do with strains just what climat you live in

i have 2 pink/purple pistil plants also. one just started but the other is well along. how are your leaves, mine are turning purple with ripening

few weeks back...

uh bullshit?

I have 11 plants. only ONE of them turned pink hairs. it's a strain/condition thing. NOT just a condition thing, idiot.

Hey, my plants have pink pistols too, and it looks pretty similar to some of your pictures.
Im from canada and I picked the beans out of some really good stuff. I have been wondering what strain they could be?
NL#5, WW, and SS early bud ?
any other ideas?

You are probably right it's the strain. Check out this outdoor LUI. @ plants High yeald

It is a strain things for sure...I have a few plants growing and only have one pink one and I smuggled it from amsterdam....I got the seed from a friend there...and even smoked some of the weed and it was amazing.

thats funny beacasue buddy because i live in bc canada and not matter what strain i use i get purple stock and purple pistols... its as soon as temps go below 18 deg celcius... im not saying there no such strain as puprle but those have purple leaves...

and buddy dont you notice a trend in the pictures yes they all have pink pistols but there ALL OUTSIDE where it get really cold at night sometimes which acullary freezes the pistols leaving purple

My plant has pink pistils but is in an attic, and the lowest temperature is 72 degrees.
