SS420's new hydro grow - Blueberry, White Shark, ChemDog, OG kush

really.. no.. im not worried...

as disfunctional as we were we still very much loved each other... it wasnt a case of not caring or cheating or anything like that.. just... we didnt get along.. VERY different personalities...

and i have systems in place to ensure my ass is safe.... i would know about anything long before it actually happened...

so today is flip day... sometime this afternoon i am going to change out the reservoir with bloom nutes... keeping it low on the ec/ppm scale so it'll flush the plants as well... flipping lights off around 10 or 11 tonight... and maintaining dark until monday morning around 10...

i want a solid 24 hours minumum of dark... in order to have the res changed and lights off by 10 AM i would have to get up at around 7 and jump to switching it out... mainly to make sure the aqua chiller is cleaned out sufficiently... when it gets built up with sediment in it, it runs much less efficient and doesnt keep the temps down properly... so i spend almost as long making sure its cleaned out as i do making sure the res is cleaned and changed...

anyways.. let the fun begin

the reservoir is changed..

gro bulbs are switched to bloom....

going to wait a couple hours to readjust the ph if it needs it and double check and make sure the drain pump is ok... but 10 pm tonight is lights off... monday 10 am they come back on...

lights have been off now for 2 hours and i miss the girls already... it will be hard no not to check on them until monday morning...

after i had already shut the lights off, and as a complete after thought, i thought about how i should have raised the lights a few inches from where they were since its very likely the plants will be growing into them when i go back in.. not that it will really fuck anything up...

sounds like ur having fun.. good shit bro.. ive got a semi report on that bcbud depot blueberry, good resin production, my mom is in bud for maybe bout 2-3 weeks, and shes startn to fill out with sticky icky so that good. other than that new news is zelch. baby coming midweek this coming week..

well guys its finally here... after everything thats happened i have reached flowering

its nice to say that.. it felt like it wasnt ever going to get here... set back after set back after set back.... its been a pain in my ass!! i suppose the heat issue would have happened if it was in soil or not.. but i wouldnt have had to deal with the reservoir problem or the flood that caused the nute burn... oh well.. thats in the past...

so the girls just came out of their 36 hour dark period... i was very happy to see they hadnt stretched NEAR as much as i thought they would.. thank god for indica dominance... i did find out that the air intake hole i cut lets in light... that normally wont matter since my day hours are actually during the day... but it sort of defeated a part of the purpose of the 36 straight dark.. but it only really was half ass on 1 plant.. so i guess it really didnt screw much up.. i just put a t-shirt in the hole..

i was happy as hell to see them tho.. they looked great.. and were littered with bud sites... even the smallest plants have at least 10 tops to them... i didnt attempt to count the white shark.. ill wait until she is actually growing buds... there was a little stretch of course.. but nothing to crazy...

so here we go.. lets see what i can come up with using the hydro system and the new setup..

last grow i got .47 grams per watt and not one plant had their own pot... with the hydro, individual pots, new lights, and a new setup i am expecting to get a lot more...

i was checking on the girls and started thinking about how today was the first day of actual flowering... and i should take some pics so i can follow weekly progress a little better....

so here they are.. day one flowering pics... you can see the bud sites.. count if you want to.. im waiting to see colas before i try...

the 3rd pic is of the white shark from a top down..

and i guess as long as i have it i will post a comparison shot of the whole room...

the first one is from this last thursday, the 27th..

obviously the second is from today...

you can really see the growth if you look at the back plants compared to the fan and the extention cord.. of course there is 36 hours of stretch in there also...

hell you shouldbe ableto countthem now and even b4 flower. but yep your going to have a few thats for sure..

i could if i REALLY wanted to... or at least get a good idea.. but even from yesterday to today some new ones i wasnt ready to see or was aware about have sprung up... so it would be a base number.. but no matter how you look at it i will have a shit load.. last count i got on just the shark was over 30 before i quit.. lol

thanks yea she is alittle under 2 1/2 ft wide 12 inchs tall, just trying to spread her out before she totally kicks in then im just telling her go. but wow sun is amazing for growth.
