Stagnant at 55% Humidity in Jars, am I fine? NL Auto

I just got done drying my buds and I think they may be too dry.

I chopped my plant at 15 1/2 weeks from sprout. Did a 1 1/2 week flush because they have a lot of nute burn.

I opted for a dry trim. So I cut each branch down and hung them that way (I should have just hung the whole plant (idiot mistake)).
I used clothes hangers w/ clips and safety pins.
There's an exhaust pc fan on the top, 1 on the bottom pulling air in as the intake (next grow box will be passive and no intake fan), and 1 fan on the bottom just to circulate air (not directly pointing @ plant material). I cut the fan cord above the bottom fan because this would have hit the plants (I never kept it on during drying, I cut it off before I hung).

The temp stayed a constant 73-75F degrees throughout the dry and the humidity was around 63-65% ish during the first 2 days, then slowly dropped each day until the 6th day it was 53-55%. I jarred on the 6th day because I heard the crunch/snap indicator. I checked on the 5th day and it felt close but didn't crunch/snap like it did on the 6th day.

During the dry there was a hefty hay/grass smell during the first 2 days then that slowly died down.
The smell on the 6th day was a lemon(or citrusy smell)/pine smell as I was trimming them.

Now I'm left with (weighed out to 2.4oz).
I did the dry trim and they seemed a little crunchy, but they don't shatter when squeezed.
I put them in 28oz dollar tree jars that I got for $1 each.

I can't seem to get them past 55% humidity. They're stuck there.
My plan was to burp it to around 60-62% and toss in a 8g boost pack in each jar, but they wont move past 55%.
This is on day one, not sure if they climb slowly to 62%.

They smell like weed. No hay/grass smell, just lemon/pine. I really hate their smell.
I smoked a sample and they're very effective, but wishing I went the CBD route as high THC makes my heart beat out of my chest.

Question 1: Did I mess this dry and cure up? I'm hoping the boost pack will do something. Probably not much given what I'm reading.
I now realize I should have hung the whole plant and regulated the humidity more. I really skipped some crucial details that I now regret.

Question 2: What will happen to these if I can't get them to around 62% humidity? If they're stuck at 55%.
I only go through about 1g a week of weed and sometimes less, but no more than 1g. So 2.4oz will last me more than a year and was wanting these to keep for that duration. I plan to grow my 30:1 CBD and hopefully have proper info for that grow.

Thanks for any feedback. Much love.

Place a wet washcloth over the top of the jar and screw the lid on. Check it every 12 hours, wetting the washcloth each time. In a couple days they will re-hydrate some. 55 to 62% isn't a bad range though, IMHO.

Well thank you sir, madam, or you could be a dog at the keyboard for all I know. My humidity is now exactly @ 60-62%.

I made the washcloth slightly damp, applied it (I just smashed the lids down and didn't screw) and waited 8 hours to check.
The humidity was around 68% after this 8 hours. So I took everything off and weed out then aired the weed out for a minute and placed everything back in the jars (except for washcloth this time).
That brought it down to 56% about 6ish hours later.
So I burped them for 1 minute and put the tops on without the washcloth once again.
Woke up and some fucking how they were exactly 62% and stayed between 60-62% all day.
Will keep an eye on them.

I assume I don't have to burp them anymore if they keep @ 60-62% from here on?
I don't know much about the mold thing (assuming they can't get it in the 62% range), just thought the whole concept of burping is to tame the moisture to 62% (or 58% I guess for others).

just leave them with the pack 55 is fine the packs will keep it in range, it smells like weed. there is no issue. definitley do not introduce excess moisture
So jarring is simply getting the smell (and taste) correct and then you're done?
New grower here, so I will remember what you've said from now on.

I think you stumbled into some good weed. That's sounds like beginners luck. Dump one of those jars in a paper bag and leave it a couple weeks and see which weed you like better. My patients never like my 62% jarred weed. They prefer the paper bag weed.

Crazy i stumbled upon this because I'm fighting the same issue this run.

Jarred up my 2 plants after 5 days of drying (40% RH due to colder than expected weather, why i dont grow in the winter). 53% was my RH this morning, so I think I jarred a day late. Stems didn't snap yesterday, but they did this morning.

I have 54g of Girl Scout Cookies and 49g of Blue Dream. I'll probably see if it raises anymore and if not i'll throw in a 62% pack tonight.

i mean, youre fretting about a 7% humidity difference. its no problem. its personal choice if you.like the buds on the drier or more pliable state. In my experience the weed which ive left dry longer which is starting to verge on too dry is the smellier weed. i prefer it more dry these days used to like the spongey feeling of more moist now i prefer the more hard rock like feeling of more dry. but the message is dont fret about this small difference of rh

I think next time I might opt for the 58% humidity packs. I do not really care for the spongy feeling. They're dense, but still spongy in a way.

I did lose some smell during all this burping shit and placing the 62% pack in there, but I actually enjoy the smell more now. It's more tame. Hopefully the humidity pack isn't taking anything away from the weed. Did read something about them doing that in regards to boveda packs.

I'm going to bag half a jar just to see how they turn out. Will keep a hygrometer in there just to see what they end up hitting. Then I will test the 60-62% weed vs the paper bag stuff. Assuming the paper bag stuff will keep to around 50%'s in terms of humidity. I may like the drier stuff in the end.

Do you know why they prefer the paper bag stuff more?
Do you jar them after the 2 weeks in the paper bag or just continue to leave them in there?
I'm not selling anything or giving anything away (but I might), so I don't want things to deteriorate quickly.

I might end up giving some of this away. It's way too potent for me. It almost verges on unenjoyable to some degree. Wish I had opted for the 1:1 CBD stuff or something along those lines. :(

Mine didn't budge @ 53% to the point where I thought my hygrometer was broken.
I placed my 62% humidity pack in there and they moved to 55% and stayed.
Ended up using the wash cloth trick which worked.

Hopefully you get things sorted out.
Wish I had grown blue dream. Have 5 seeds from nirvana coming in the mail. So hopefully soon.

They took a bit to harvest. I was reading some growdiaries of them going 18 weeks. So I'm glad everything worked out around 15 weeks. Going photoperiod from now on with the exception of a few CBD autos I want to grow.
I got them from Seedsman. It was a freebie (got 3 free total).
