my parents have over 100 believe me it's not so much land. i'd be quite sure the 100 acres is not all along the road. get what i mean? with my parents land they live out in the boonies but there is lots of other houses around. the closest being within sight with alot of trees being in between. the land goes backwards from the road with about 100yds of frontage. so you can see how 80 can be quite confined realy. unless you are a city cat then you might be lost for a half hour.

I'll see your poly tunnel, and raise you 1 more layer of poly for the winter.
ah, touche.

to the OP, had any ideas yet?. it's a must that you use the massive outdoor space to your advantage, if you dont have a long growing season, start clones indoors around feb, move them outdoors in april and come end of september you will have trees fit for a monkey.

it would all depend on the legality of the grow, and the resources you have going into it. My suggestion is always to start small and go big ;).

growing cannabis from start to finish is all about simple common sense and reasoning skills. In many ways it is like playing chess. I would hope that anyone deciding to grow would consider those things I mentioned above and move on in a linear fashion from there. Planning and preperation are the two largest parts of your grow Right Now, before you ever plant a bean. Plan your game, strategize against adversaries (nature, rippers, and LEO), and impliment your plans and strategies with care and always possess the vitality and resources to change plans on seconds notice to compensate for a bad move, or an unseen play (a storm, or a rat, for example). And just as in Chess, don't tell your plans in the open, maybe even start a couple false trails for distraction to CYA.
Watch how the game is played, and learn good moves from winners, while catching the downfall of other players moves that cause them to "lose". Just as in chess, you must play your own game, no one can play for you. Its your show bro, so look around and study all of our moves. Form your own plans and strategies and impliment them wisely. Good luck, and if there is anything that I can directly comment on, please let me know. I love to help people... though fair warning is that my help may seem at times ambiguous in trying to lead you to make your own decisions, ;).

All, 3.. GRow outsite, inside and in a greenhouse.. Fuck I would grow on the moon if I could..

First I need to ask a couple of questions. What are your goals with this grow? Do you want to make huge money? Or do you just want some smoke for you and you buddies? Are you solo or is it a team effort, do you have a family, how much do you have to invest in your setup, how old are you , what area are you in, will this be your full time job or will you have to work too,
If you really want quality feedback, I will help, though I will tell you that by my estimate 90% of first attempts at large scale opps fail miserably.

PEACE

Id say take the advice from this thread and mold it to your situation
it all depends on your surroundings and your budget and most importantly what Your goals are.
Butttttt in my fantasy i would have a couple of Pitbulls running around for some security and an outfitted greenhouse to grow in year round
also i would try to grow 3-5 LARGE plants outside in some secluded area of the property if there are not any houses close by with snoopy neighbors.
other than that i would keep the barns for storage live in one of the houses and maybe get a business partner set up in the other?

and as for the greenhouse i would have one hell of a green house ready for 30+ good sized plants

For everyone giving advice about growing outdoors you do realize he's talking about growing on what will be his own land right(for awhile anyway)?? unless legal thats a mistake.
