Stanley Blower in a grow box???

has anyone ever used a stanley blower (or something similar) to ventilate their grow box? i have one laying around the house and am trying to figure out a way to use it.

Any help is greatly appreciated. +REP for pics lol

No pics but a friend of mine use to use Stanley blowers because they were much cheaper than your typical inline fans... He just bent standard ducting to fit the box shaped output and added some ducting-tape to make it air tight. Wasn't pretty by any means but it worked. Happy growing!

I use one in my closet. Just sits on the top shelf next to the ballast to romove heat. I don't have it hooked up to any ducting if I did I would just have an inline fan, it just blows towards the crack in the door. Could easily be set up in a box I suppose with just a little bit of customization.

Im gonna go for it. ill customize it to fit my needs. ill try to remember to get pics of me doing it...

yeah I got one set up on my can 33 filter works great. Get a 5" ducting flange and it will fit in the grate side perfectly. just break out the cheap plastic grating with a screwdriver. :) google it there is a whole tutorial

also might wanna pick up some of that aluminum dryer ducting tape seems to work good for sealing things up. Its like $7 a roll at the Home depot.
