So sorry to hear it's been 'interesting' for you. I figured you were just snowed under at work.
Add Vitamin B12 and Vitamin C daily in fairly large doses. Those help significantly in these type of nerve entrapment syndromes. Sometimes there can be a bone spur, did you have that checked?
Leaking shrader from the low pressure sensor port.
heh, umm well, the x-rays were inconclusive.. which i guess is common with that type of injury, annnnd it seemed that i knew
much more about what was goin on than the dr... which is the problem that i seem to encounter..
and i swear.. if another dumbshit dr offers me antidepressents for physical maladies i am goin to slap them, it's like they get kickdowns from the pharmacies.
and i'm a pretty happy person, and i'm always optimistic, but I've had four diff drs offer me those meds for pain
wtf? How would that be a good idea?
anyways
i have a fairly good understanding on how they work, and why, and i fail to see the correlation to pain-relief.. at least acute types anyways
i mean the last i heard the whole idea, and primary objective of health care was to fix the existing problem rather than to add multiple types of drugs to one's biological "cocktail"
oh well.. it's been a while since i actually was impressed with a dr.
i mean if somebody rolled into my shop and knew MORE about their car than i did, i'd sure as hell be hitting the textbooks again..
i can safely say that not a single person has ever known more about their car than i did/do, but that's the whole point of taking your car to an expert, right?
anyways..
judging on the massive amount of healing time, and the other symptoms, i'd say it's a hairline fracture of the scaphoid in specific
but with no health insurance (i know, i know...)
so essentially i have the good ole "go-to-sleep-and-hope-its-better-the-next-day" healthcare..
and so far that only works if i stay home don't move it, don't go to my shop, buuuuuut i don't umm, well, make any money that way...
each weekend it gets much much better, and then by Monday night it's quite fucked up again.
shitty thing is i can't drive my sporty fast car (manual trans), and i'm stuck with my mammoth beast suburban..
but yea, no money for a mri (expensive with no ins)
it's all good, i'll get better eventually, just slooowly...
nerve damage takes a while to heal though, especially if you keep tweaking it every hour or so.
i'm discovering that the most annoying thing is each customer asking me what i did... now i just give them the abbreviated response
"Ahh, i tweaked it wrenchin"
the bright side is i'm becoming much more ambidextrous in regards to opening hoods, turning the car on with the key ( which hurts like an massive unwashed whore if i do that with my right hand)
tying my shoes, buttoning my shirt, WRITING...watering my plants, mixing soil, just damn near anything
