How big do you want them? If you flower now, you will hav 18-24 inch plants. If height is a problem, then yeah, flower now. If not, wait. They will double to triple in height when put into flower so keep that in mind. Based on your setup, I would wait a bit still, but remember, you only have a 400W working there, so if they get too tall, light mau become a problem... Cheers!

I think I'll let them go to 20+ inches (10-14 days) then flower.
Anyone attest to a 24-36 hour dark period before 12/12??

Just stick to 12/12 flowering. It is the easiest and least stressful way.

Yes, my plants love it, 36 hrs dark before 12/12, they show flower early, and my plants at least, became vigorous after the dark perios. No hint of stress, actually, they seemed the healthiest they have ever been with the dark period!.... If you let them get 20 inches, they will be 40-60 inches near the end of flowering, depending on the strain...

I've heard good and bad things about a 36 hour dark period but i think I'm gonna give that a try...it work into my current sunrise schedule and will put the lights on at the following night at 10pm...(light on during the cooler arizona nights)

It depends on how much height you have to flower them in and if you have enough lighting to give them adequate light when they double to triple in size in flower. If you will run out of either if you let them grow taller then put them into flower soon. If you have much or lots more room and lighting to use then wait and let them get some decent size so you get a heavier yield.

Are you saying your plants will 20+ inches within a two week period? Is that from seeds? My youngs two are five weeks old from seeds and they are only 6 to 8 inches tall. My older ones are 2 weeks older and are barely 12 to 14 inches tall.
