THis thing is def sativa dom. I had to tie it over to keep it in the ballpark. The first day of flower it shot up 6" during the dark cycle.

It putting on some nice weight for only 28 days in.

At least I think it is.

I've got some B52 seedlings going now in my veg cabinet that I plan on Scrog'ing so this is my on a noobie learning curve now.

Thanks for the reply.

Your plants are lookin' real nice, brutha, and I don't want to freak you out...

But, your leaf tips are showing some classic downward curl associated with too many nutes. Bear in mind that sativa dom's are more nute sensitive, and the loads that people describe for white widow, superskunk, AK47, bubblelicious and so on are too much for sativas.

How much stuff are you adding? Bear in mind also, that bloom nutes aren't really appropriate until the stretch phase is near complete. When you're putting on 6" in a day, grow nutes are more appropriate and for sativas, never over 1/4 strength of what's recommended.

You're at a sensitive phase right now. If you don't believe me, go prowl around the "Plant Problems" area and see how many freak-out posts are in there with "25...28...30 days into flower" in them.

Remember, the nute manufacturers are in business to sell you as much as you'll buy, no matter how many little MJ leaves they put on their labels..

Thanks for the tips bro.

I think you may be right but I'm confused then... I've got some yellowing leaves that made me think that there was a Nitrogen def so I upped it a little. This made the most sense at the time, becuase it only started when I started FF bestie bloom as a stand alone which has no N in it.

I am gonna go light on the FF nutes next feeding, I guess...Also,

I didn't catch what kind of light you have on them. With 30" plants, you can get yellow leaves at the very bottom just from lack of light penetration; probably need 600W or more to maintain leaf vigor all the way down a 30" indoor plant. But yeah, I'd ease up a bit on nutes.. like 1/4 strength every other week, and just keep an eye on that little "claw thing" the top leaves have got going on there.

I just noticed, too, that you reported using MG potting soil. Are we talking the pre-ferted stuff that says "feeds for three months"? If so, they are DEF getting too many nutes. That stuff is good thru a full grow, so the Dutch growers say (and who knows more about indoor growing than the Dutch?).

You're walking right in my footsteps that I just laid down about 2 months ago -- sativa dom's in MG soil, adding FF nutes every other watering... Wanna see my pic's of my plants I almost blew up this way?

i've got a 400W HPS on them but I've taken out some CFL's that were around the base for my veg cab. I don't believe this yellowing and removing those lights is related as the yellowing, while worst at the bottom, seems to be a common theme on the whole plant...

BTW...The Dutch are some real mad geniuses when it comes to indoor grow nutes and nute related issues. :eyesmoke:

Doesn't really smell all that much to be honest. Kinda earthy and sweet but not knock you on your ass skunky...

It's bagseed after all and I'm just hoping for some decent smoke.

The buds seem to be swelling up now in the 5-6 weeks after FF nutes and molasses.

We'll see.
