start flowering???

Plants are about 18 days old and the one in middle is 21 days old and I want to start flowering. Will the yield still be decent size if I start now?

supplying large amounts of co2 can get expensive. i know i do it lol. but even bring in air from another area helps considerably.

Sure .. if you can bring in enough fresh air there's a lot of CO2 in it .. but if they don't have it, one way or another, and lots of light, he's hoping for something he is highly unlikely to get.

I'm usin 400w mh and 400w hps I know for a fact that's more then enough light so idk how your gonna tell me my set up isn't good and you don't even knoq. And I have plenty of room and 2 oz isn't even that high of a yield so yeah

i think your beginning questions was what your yield would be if you switch to 12/12 right now. you would need to veg longer and have a large space for the stretch in order to get 2 oz per plant. yes actually 2oz perplant can be difficult in smaller areas lol...

I agree I think the answers may be more focused on you starting flowering now which if you did you wont get 2 ozs

Im growing in a 7 ft wide 8 ft high 4 foot wide closet its enough room. And no that's not what I asked. I asked if I could get a decent yield if I flowered now. Then asked how long I would have to wait if I wanted 2oz per plant. I haven't even used nutrients yet and plants are already growing pretty fast. I think 2oz per plant is no unrealistic want and I know its possible with what I have

Generally you want to go by size of plant and not amount of time for vegging your plant is going to double to triple in size on average when you go into flowering if you want 2 oz i would say at least a three foot plant, So i would wait till it hits at least 16-18" in height

To have a chance of getting that you would have to veg until when you put them into flower they would use just about every inch of usable height .. and that's likely about 5 feet .. and maybe topping them too to get that much.

Yea topping to get 4 main colas I would say thats what Im doing on my grow im germing now

Honestly I think your wrong I've seen 4 foot plants yield almost 3 oz. A five foot plant in 55 days would yield well over 2oz for sure

yeild depends on more things than just light and veg time such as strain. a veg time of two months or more would be best for a yeild of 2 ounces .and nutrients don't make plants grow faster, they sustain growth by supplying the plant with what it needs, your plants didnt need nutrients because the soil you planted them in should hav nourished them enough without the risk of nute-burning a seedling by having to fertilise them.
