I'm in coco I believe this is the start of calmag deficiency. Conformation is what I'm looking for. 20200206_101128.jpg
I did a foliar spray of Epsom salts already.

I agree with John Dee that this is not a Mg deficiency. Take a good look at the brown splotches on the leaf to the left of the one you have circled. You might have a Ca deficiency starting (the punctate rust colored spots), however based on those white splotches I'd look very closely with a magnifier at the underside of my leaves for pests.

Well I looked and dont see any pests I will keep an eye out.
And Bose...even with properly prepped coco...it's still not a bad idea to add in some calmag. Much depends on water. Is your water very hard?

I grow in coco using tap that's only 80 ppm...so I give full strength calmag.

Hello everyone. I treated for calmag deficiency. The plant was looking a bit better. I'm seeing a few more rust spots on bottom and one on the upper plant now. In thinking it may be a fungas. Should I treat for fungas and remove infected leaves? 20200209_075234.jpg20200209_075154.jpg20200209_075119.jpg20200209_075051.jpg20200209_075011.jpg

Bose...don't jump the gun and start treating a fungus before you're sure that's what it is. Ca problems often occur with brown spots. Sheesh it puzzles me that guys water their plants with water they know nothing about. If you already have loads of Ca and now, and with calmag you are getting more brown spots. Ca excess maybe?

Why do you think it's a fungus? High RH? Do you spray plants a lot?

I do spay plants to keep humidity up average is 30% my temps lights on are 76-78 lights off temps 60. I gave calmag full dose with feeding twice a day. I thought the low temps my be causing fungus.

OK Bose...a couple of things you can do. Stop spraying the plant. Use open pans or trays of water near grow but getting the plants wet all the time WILL lead to fungus.

and where's the picture of an ice cube...you have to do your part here dude.

Do you have epsom salts?

Maybe stop the calmag and go with tap water plus epsom salts (1/2 tsp per gal) to see if the brown spots worsen or get better.
