OK, I have done a lot of experimenting myself over the last couple months, while I grow my first crop and move a little weight. Inspired by some dude's post below I decided to share some secrets to my cheap and fast hash production. In a lot of the half pound bags I can get up to 10-20 grams of shake. Some people like it for :joint: but I personally love the bongsmilie, so that's no good for my headies.

Additionally, I own a set of bubble bags, they are AMAZING. But not so amazing when it's smaller amounts or you don't want to sit straining bags, setting up, and cleaning up for 45 minutes

Now this method will work for as little as three grams and up to nearly 50-100 grams of shake or trim. There are no mystical secrets here, just a little stoner ingenuity. You only need a few things, but they need to be the RIGHT ONES... don't substitute a different coffee grinder or you'll waste bud. Here goes.

Equipment:

5x delicious weeds

1x Proctor Silex Coffee Grinder (you can find it cheaper, amazon link is easy)

1x Makin's clay extruder

1x clean spoon

1x wide flat clean plate (glass is good, ask your mom for her coke plate)

1x toaster over or reg oven

rubbing alcohol (for cleaning only)

OK, now it's good to get your shake decently dry. it doesn't have to be dust, but dry helps. Fill the coffee grinder up with green. plug it in. turn it on. Watch insane amounts of kief collect on the roof of the grinder. You may need to grind it up for a full minute before the stuff starts collecting.

Now you open the bottom of the clay extruder and twist the handle so there's room to put the kief in. Scrape in the kief.

Very important: do not throw away the ground up bits. There is WAY more kief in there. I've found it tends to stick to the bottom and edges. Get your spoon in there and mix it all around, then put the top back on and grind again. You will get nearly as much in the first round. Keep doing this until you get less and less kief, and keep scraping it into the tube after every round.

By now you should have packed the tube. Screw the bottom back on, (with the two pattern discs that cancel each other out, leaving no holes, you'll see what I mean).

Now twist the handle and pack that shit tight. Don't overtighten though, you can break the extruder. This is not a $150 hash press. But then again, you didn't spend $150.

Now set your oven / toaster for 150 degrees and stick it in, but leave it no more than 5-6 minutes

I have done a lot of experimenting and the first few I cooked way too hot or too long. if you start to smell heavy burnt popcorn or peanuts, take it out. A little smell is ok. Above 150-200 you begin to vaporize cbns and thcs, and a lot of ovens get hotter than the marked settings.

Now take it out carefully, and while still warm, give it another twist or two to tighten it up, then set it in front of a fan or AC. This cools it off the fastest (much faster than the freezer; I've tried).

In a few minutes you will have beautiful little smokey treat. Pop it out and soak the extruder in alcohol, and it'll last you a long time

thanks bud. Sure, you don't get the pure bubble hash out of this method, but you get much more out of it, depending on strain. I've had up to 3g of nice hash from only 10g of shake before
