started pineapple chunk seeds today

you could do it just about anywhere the soft white cfl will work as youre only trying to get them to root light requirement at this stage is minimal less is best as cuttings are fragile & too much light fries them so sunlight is out of the question it will kill them 75-85 degree is best i try to get my cuttings off bottom branches of plant seems to work best i dont think it matters where you do it but weak light ,the dome &misting with clean water is a must

yeah i should of made the equilevant part clear actualy 23 watt single bulb is all it takes i have had temps hit 100 & clones still took

yo HH the forced sexing is working........
i had to throw away the first male.....
i cried a little inside......its so hard to say goodbye lol:cry:

LEDs worked really well for me.

anyone else have a good experience with them?

hey d.s.s. its nice when things go as planned, i have a hard time letting things go too even if they are useless. tingpoon when i first started doing weed indoors i was looking at ufo's but funds being what they were i went hps. im gonna go back & research led's they very well could be the wave of the future i try to keep an open mind i've seen some beautiful plants grown with cfl's & t-5's as well & if something works good you gotta give credit where its due. now for daily report on pineapple chunk 42'' tall & had to raise light again today even after topping im running out of room, they have slowed a bit on upward growth & the lemon skunk decided to get back in the race ''rocklock'' holding steady in last place its doing very good by most standards its just running with a fast bunch, ill post pics tomorrow

I agree that the cfl & t-5 grows that i have witnessed are really good so I cant completely count them out either
report sounds good hope to get some pics soon
GO rocklock GO:blsmoke:

the babies are in my clone cabinet under cfl's until i complete current grow theyre in 4x4 rockwool blocks when they advance to growroom they should be about14-16'' tall then its all about 600w. hps i usually do 9 plants but this grow im reducing to 7[pineapple chunk, lemon skunk &rocklock] all indica & all fast finishers 5 of them are pineapple chunk & the other 2 were attitude freebies p/c is the intended strain i want 2 run with it seems to have the traits im wanting work is slow these days &''bud'' has been helping me out a wee bit 2 offset my overhead some this is the only hobby ive ever had that paid 4 itself.got outdoor stuff going too but the indoor stuff is my favorite hey don how is your stuff going??? i was happy 2 see a familliar face this is a pic of current grow

My lemon skunk is by no means an indicia dominant, at a little over 2 months old from seed mine is nearly 5ft tall and its only been flowering for two weeks, sativa leaves and all this is indoors in only a 3.5 galon pot. It doesnt have a whole lot of nodes either at 5ft and its not cause it was reaching for light its been only a foot under a 1000W MH or 600W HPS this whole time. If yours is indicia dom that is really rare cause my experience seems to be the norm for lemon skunk from my research.

hopefully you will slow them down and get a little more yield:mrgreen:
just noticed the little scarecrow you have by your room.....hilarious
about my plants....it really sucks cause 2 more are males but the last of that strain is a lady :-P
anyway man good pics and nice clones
keep us posted

did another round of topping the p/c this morning its getting late to be topping so im gonna quit topping & see if i cant tie them down from now on p/c is one of those plants that responds well to topping ,next grow ill top early on & veg for 1 week only i cant figure a good plan on first grow next time ill be ready

:mrgreen:got 1 more idea & if i have to im gonna move my res. &shorten the legs of the stand my tub sits on that will give me an additional 15'' or so i only use the res when i mix nutes & flood & drain i can do that from outside door as room is higher than patio scarecrow, john wayne & southpark are on inside of growroom door for laughs:mrgreen::eyesmoke:i use drain to waste so no nutes are stored in the res.:peace:
