Starting a box, very new, few questions

Hi guys! Sorry if some of the info I ask about is already in these boards, I did search some but always like to chat about it too. I am starting a 2.5'x2.5'x4' box thats 6.25 sq/feet and 4 feet tall. I am going to run I think 4 CLF bulbs and just hang them from the top of the box and raise them as the plants grow. My questions are would 3 plants be too much in there? I need to read a bit more about how to keep them from getting to tall. I do have a 400watt HPS bulb I could also use but I think I would run out of height. What size containers should I use?

Any tips/tricks to know about?

Going to just go simple and use soil, a mix of potting soil and some manure and then some fertilizers from a local hydro shop.

The walls are covered in silver insulation about 1/2" thick so that should help keep the heat in, it is in a pretty cool spot that will get down to 40 at night but I think I can keep it warm in the box with a tiny heater.

When you do mainlining you gotta make sure you plants are the type that like to grow nice spear shaped colas. Those end up working the best. Be ready for extra veg time as mainlining starts with a very aggressive topping. Weednerds are taking over. Just sayin.

I would definitely use the 400 w light. I feel like you would be very disappointed with the results from just 4 cfl bulbs. You can get around the height issue if you start the 12/12 cycle very early. For fun I just grew a plant that finished at about 10 inches. You will need to go overboard with ventilation if you decide to go with the 400 w light as it will get hot, but nothing you can't manage with a decent inline fan. Good luck.
