Starting out

Hey guys, I'm new here just signed up and I'm from 'sunny' old England. I've read quite a few really good tutorials (On this site) but I just want to ask a quick question.

Is it possible to grow a 2-3 plants in a cupboard on a small budget?

I'll try and explain myself a bit better, 'Newbie' isn't a strong enough word for me in the growing sense, smoked a fair bit over my life . So I'm wondering I only want to grow a couple of plants in a cupboard. I don't really want to spend money apart from the basic (I understand I need to spend money on Lights etc).

I know you get these questions ALL the time but any tips for me on a couple of plants on a nothing budget for some average green?

A cupboard? How big is the cupboard? I don't picture anybody getting very much bud from the average cupboard.

Dimensions(If i take the shelf's out):

3ft wide
1.5ft deep
4ft High

Well, I don't know what to say but get some T5 florecents and veg. till spring time. I would not try to flower ur plants in a closet. you will need to either #1 Clone so you have plants to fall back on cause your mother will prolly start showing signs of nitro deficincy when spring comes around.
#2 cut her off and thow away your "could be clones".

Edit: when she does start turning yellow you will need to transfer you plant into a bigger pot OR leech the root wad. I had my mother in a 6gal and had to leech after a year.
go outdoor for blooming. indoor with your space just veg.

Outdoor as in outside? Or just out of the cupboard with natural light etc?

Also been looking on the net about MH Bulbs and what the hell do they "plug in to"?? lol I have tried searching "Lights, Lamps, etc" but they just come up with bulbs all the time where can I get a lamp for the MH bulbs from?
