Starting out!

i purchased AFGHAN RYDER KUSH seeds. autoflowering not knowing what that meant im a newbie and this is my very first grow i built a good grow room its 8x6x4' and its devided up into a three room grow room for clones veg and flower. i started germinating my auto flower seeds in a cup of water like i seen on you tube and its been 4 days and i just put them in pete moss pellets! but now that ive done that i just watched another video saying dont let seeds sit longer than 24 hours in water and that pete moss pellets work like shit just to go to direct soil?? can anyone help me with what to do and where to go from here. if what i have done is alright so far and what to do during the next few stages id appreciate it! like i said im a newbie and i know the main stuff but i wanna know when to switch light complicated shit to know with these bullshit autoflowers well hopefully there not bullshit lmao!

with autos you don't parsec have to switch lights to like a 12/12. you can run 19/6 or what ever you deem. I would use Hps for the grow. I've never left seeds in that long, usually I just go till they sink. No expert here put that's what I do. I'd advise doing massive amount of research on here and other forums, there is never just 1 answer.

so you cantstart em out under a lower bulb and move up to ure hps there done under hps lights the wholeway through?

Is the auto flower the only strain you're running? If so you have no need for the clone room or even the veg room. You cannot clone from Autos and the veg room or separating veg from flower room is pointless unless you have other strains - the autos, to my knowledge, don't care about the light cycle like a normal strain would. They switch on their own - they're not dependent on the 12/12 light cycle - hence automatic.

Good autos will grow under any light schedule, but many people believe the plants need rest regardless. the standard is 20 on, 4 off for autos. The more light the better for the most part as they have a finite life cycle. Autos also tend to be touchy with nutrients, they are hardier plants and don't need as much nutrients as a photo. Start slow with 1/3rd or 1/2 on nutes and work up slowly to be sure you don't have an overly sensitive strain.

You should be fine if your seed had a taproot when you planted it. what is your light set up? when the seedling breaks soil stick it under a smaller light for a day or two before you put it under your big lights or you might fry it. Don't water it more than 3 times a week for the first two weeks. These are just some simple things I learned my first go around. I'm still growing and learning myself.

i got the three seperate rooms cause im goin tobe doing more than one strain and i only got the cloning room light and the veg room lights so far ill have enough money to buy the 1000 watt hps with lumateck digital ballst in 2 weeks but i figured get em started while i wait to get the light considering ididnt think theyd need it right away like other plants wouldnt. my flower room is 5 feet wide by 6 feet tall by 4 feet in depth im doin 6 plants in there on the 1000 watter and i got a 3 foot wide by 4 feet high by 4 in depth for my veg and in there i have 2 150 cfl 6 100 w cfls and a huge cfl light not sure how many watts but its the big ones. and in my clonin room is 3 and half feet high and 4 feet deep and 3 feet wide and in there is 8 100 watt cfls! my humidity stays between 30 and 40 % do i need it higher and my temps between 76-85 its hard to keep a constant of both in there

this one was crossed with male auto pollen
this is getting sprayed with Colloidal silver on 2 branches to get some fem pollen and a few S-1 beans
they flower fine under 24/0 its all i use

sweet im happy there killer plants do you know alot about growing auto flowers this is my first grow?
i just built my first room and i was wondering whats the best temp ranges and humidity? also i had them in water for 3 days does that mean there dead i just didnt know cause the tap root seemed so small and ive seen what they generally look like and i was waitin for them to get big like regular plants do? or that reg that it was small?

but the tap roots are usually kinda small
i dont use the water or paper towel methods i just plant them and my germ rates are almost 100%

i only grow auto's pretty much
3x4x5' box
400w hps on 12/12
2 135w leds 24/0
and 200w of cfl 68w bulbs
cfl and hps are on opposite schedules easier to keep the temps lower in the middle of the day with cfl's

ok whats a good temp and humidity level to grow at through out the grow

my box stays about 85-90 f

couple days
just try not to keep them soaked
super light waterings
until the plant is larger
if you keep them soaked they stunt i water seedlings with a spray bottle until they have 2-3 sets of leaves
