State Drug Tax Stamps

Does anyone know about these? I never heard of them until I read in the local newspaper that a fire cheif, charged with possesion and intent to distribute, was also charged for not having a proper, state issued, MJ Tax Stamp. Looking on legaljoint.net I learned the actual state laws and the prices per gram for a tax stamp. So, if I buy a stamp- which from what I understand is not self-incriminating- does that mean I can legaly possess the amount of MJ as said on the Tax Stamp?

NOPE! It only means you paid the required tax. It's illegal to possess but the state still wants its cut. No stamp=another charge. Your required to pay taxes on money made illegally. On the federal tax forms, the Govt. asks if you made money illegally and you can declare it and pay the taxes on it.

This was just a way of banning it without banning. Like they did machine guns. Those are perfectly legal as long as you have a stamp too......... but where do you buy a stamp? You can't. You got to get on your knees for the governor.

Unlike the machine gun tax stamp act, my state actually sells the stamps. You can go to a govt. window, and pay cash for stamps. No requests for ID but if a stamp for a single plant ($650 each I believe) they are only valid for 6 months. Remember Al Capone? He was caught for nothing other than tax evasion.

their real its just 1 thing the government doesn`t print them so nobody can get 1

I remember his story.... sure. He paid off Chicago officials as well so all his cronies could carry concealed weapons. Nothing new like I said. If you're elite enough to find the elusive stamp office, you probably didn't need it anyway.
