I have been attempting to think of some new ideas for a new cab to build.

I really love PC Grows, but sometimes they seem just a tad too small. I have been trying to think of a way to design another PC grow but get good yield but just have not found a great case to build off of.

I decided to just completely build a box. I started to mess around and try and design a cab but Im not exactly sure if what I have been looking at will work. A lot of what I have been designing off of has been other PC Grow cases that I have seen, but I want to build this out of some ply wood.

I also have a question of what would be a good material to separate the lights from the plants, some sort of thing material that would not be melted by the lights, act as a cooling chamber, and protect the leafs of plants from getting burn since there is a very small amount of grow space. Unless this is a horrible idea and doing something like this would not work.

Any other ideas and comments are greatly appreciated, I will try and get a more detailed design up soon, but here is what I got so far.

Left side of the box will obviously be used for the plants and the right side will be used for the wiring.

Also, will this amount of fans allow enough cooling for the plants? And do I have them laid out correctly?

oh, sorry (mad high) Aluminun nylon polytheryne (if i spelled it right) lol also is great, because its black side on one side, light proof and the aluminum silver side serves as a reflector, problem is, they are kinda meant to hold heat,. u would probably need a 260cfm or better inline exhaust fan, think of the material that pizza hut and domino's pizza uses to keep there pizza hot while during delivery... that the material that it is..

Panda sheets are good and and are heat resistant.
I tried searching around for these, but I cant find anything to what I was thinking you were talking about. Do you think you could send me a link to something with what it looks like or where I could buy it?

Along with that aluminum stuff you are talking about I have no idea about that either. Also how would I use that in my design. I was looking for something I could use as a shield from the lights so that the plants cant touch them. This would be that it has to be clear. I dont think glass would let enough pass, but I could be wrong and the other thing that I thought about was plexi glass but didn know if I could use that either.

Anyone help me out with some more design tips?

-How many fans should I have going in and how many out?

-What type of material to separate lights from plants that allows light to emit through it?

-How many light/watts should be running in the box?

Just some basic things I was thinking about in my design that if anyone could provide me with some answers would be great.

Thanks
