in case you didn't know a feature of google is conversion of anything to anything

simply type 1.8 meters to feet and google will do it for you
i do, though i tend to do it the old fashioned way
just a habit, number comes out the same, about 12 sq feet
this is the number quoted in the hps thread for the 600w
practice is another story, cool tube or not, ventilation, etc.

a small addendum to the prior post
i read the height was 1.8 meters, that the width and length were 0.8m x 1.4m
this may be incorrect

Indeed, anyway I feel we are getting a bit off topic.
But regardless I have been doing a few hours of research and I am now completely at rest RE My grow size and FLIR (Solution = Venting internally, intake externally) as well as Power bill (solution = CFL and T5's)

Thanks so much for everyones help!

If you must vent outside I see the suggestion come up often to vent thru your dryer vent so that it looks less suspicious...I have also read that your roof of your grow room would technically need to be on fire if flur was able to detect it thru the roof. I have also found in my research that the cops are just looking for hot air exiting a building in more then one place...

as for power bills - its holds true that the electric company will give it out information to the police that it is suspicious (if infact it is) but ONLY if the police ask - additionally I don't think they can get a warrant based on that evidence alone, however, it can be used as a peice of the puzzle to obtain the warrant eventually.

Yeah my thoughts exactly.
Listen I have supplied people around with MJ for a little over two years now, I have pushed approximately a quarter pound a week consecutively and never once been under any suspicion I believe.
I am just trying to attain the same level of stealth with grow (:

i have always dreamed of a big grow op old houses where i live have big heat vents on the floor around a foot and a half by a foot and a half i have always wanted to have buy one re do the basement making a room that had no doors but have a vent on the other story that had a door you could only new how to open because to the naked eye looked normal and is fully functional but opening this door has a ladder that leads to this room with all your plants all lights hooked up to a timer and all water sprayers hooked up to a time so its like clock work you just sit back watch and maintain the growth in the remodel of the you bring a ac duct into the room to keep it cool and i have also though of taking a pvc pipe out under the ground into a shed or something of that sort with exhaust fans hooked up to vent to room this would be very cool but it takes money and i dont need anyting that big to me this sounds sweet but to others may not

I would imagine that after the first couple hundred trips up and down that ladder, this wouldnt look like such a good idea after all.
