Amk792, yep that's plan b actually, first I was gonna cover up ever thing with the lightning and see if that would eliminate the leaks and plan be was gonna be either duct tape,electrical tape or the black paint you suggested thanks for the comment though and welcome to the party guys :)

you're right but in the end i would still end up having to recover it would something that would reflect or bounce the light which is why if the lightning is thick enough to block the light and reflect it. I'll just be doing that since I'll be doing it anyway lol other wise I'll have to pre-cover it with any of the aforementioned. but you're right though, spray painting would be the easiest.

im afraid with 97% u will get leaks
a painted insides of rubbrnaid boxes and they shine like christmas till i sprayed outside with flat black
i used flat white which is i think 80-85% i think u will still have balck out

Concerning the locks, I had a need for a low profile method to secure an armoire, and searched high and low for a stealth lock system. The wife mused "could you use magnets" :wall: To appease her I did a image search on google.

Btw: they work like a charm. Don't remember I think they were $17.00 for two locks and one "key".

Looking forward to watching your grow!

lol good stuff mr casus, damn women i know what you mean though lol and i can't wait to get started on that either actually it been awhile since a grew and smoked. i told my self i wouldn't smoke until i finish the build and grow so far it's been a month and the way things are looking it'll be at least 4 more
but believe, when i get started on it you my friend will get an invite to the show front and center

so i went to my local home improvement store, thinking how weird it was that every one would have the same sense of home "improvement" lol. and the trip ended with the following items purchased

I'm liking the work so far, and that slightly sloppy, but effective design/construction method you have- it's reminding me of things I do aha
Like the bit with the junction box hosting an outlet for a timer timer, but hijacking the "switched" line to spread around.. I actually have almost the exact same thing in my current growroom in my vegging cabinet +rep automatically ahah

Also I made a grow dresser some time ago which worked out fairly well, albeit it was a little short for mature plants. I'd recommend the post, but you actually seem to have it outdone already anyway- so you should expect decent results at the least :)

Ok, so semi update time.

i took the time to cover all the pvc and Tupperware boxes with black duct tape and boy did that do the trick lol. I also took a few picks to show you guys
duct tape and it's many uses:

last nights darkness test was border line perfect, I took pics from all around the box including the back and the floor behind it. I know you cant tell but that, is the point :)

looking good although i have to ask how many sockets are you looking to use? i lol'd a bit at the first pic but then i saw you went and bought a bunch more. i do hope they're all not all gonna be connected to same in wall socket?

of course. the only important things to note is the allowable wattage of the socket. which should be 15 amps (standard for any room sockets and the fuse for that room as well) so long as this limit isn't passed there should be no problems.

nah maybe just four into each strip, the strips are more for the movement of the lights to both supplement and fill. i wanted to use some t5s or something but that was far to expensive an idea for now.

Update!!!!

OK, so a couple days ago I took a trip to my local grow shop and bought some (said in a really epic and deep voice) LIGHTNING 97%, just got finished coating the inside of the Armoire and if i may say so myself, it's looking pretty damn good!!!

just about done, all i need to do now is order the lights, I think two 200w (actual wattage) lights should do the trick. :)
