Stealth Grow Technologies no longer answering phones

So these Stealth Grow technology guys that sold these led lights a few years ago are no longer answering their phones or returning emails.

You may be familiar with the SG602 and SG Veg, both of which I have several.

Well recently, at about the two year mark, diodes started to go out in rows. Eventually, half of a light would go out, until the entire panel wouldn't light up.


Now, I've been trying for weeks to call and email them for repair information or possible warranty coverage.

For a company that retails these lights $1,400+, I am horribly surprised of the lack of costumer service. It is non existent.


Now, I've left numerous messages and voice mails stating my issues and need for help. Now, as I've informed them, I'm on a campaign to discourage anyone from buying these LEDs.

They are cheaply made and you can read about it online. Certain things were glued when they shouldve been welded to save a buck, and now they are backing their products or providing any costumer service to save another buck.

Dont be scammed.

Please head this warning and tell everyone you know who may be considering one of these lights.


I've had this membership for a few years now and proudly remain a rollitup brother, although I don't have many posts, when I post, I mean it!

So, I received a long-awaited phone call about a week ago from a Stealth Grow representative. He left a minute long voice mail stating they were busy dealing with a physical location move so they are now getting back to all the emails and phone calls (although I never got a return email or response to my Warranty Form).

He then went on to tell me how he 'would love to help' and to please give him a call back.

Unfortunately that's not how you run a company, especially one as big and progressive as them, very disappointing. I hope in the future, they will think about employing someone for $350/week to pick up a cell phone. They sell lights for $1,400+ retail, is it too much to ask for some form of costumer service that doesn't revolve around them?

Anyway, just wanted to put out that update. Turns out they are responding..just weeks after it's convenient for them. Good Job?

Update:

Since Stealth Grow Technologies merged (or was bought up by?) with Greners Hydroponics, I've received 2 replacement lights and the 3rd should be here soon. After that, I'll send in the 4th and last SG602.

The customer service has been decent since they finished with their "location move". The new 2ND Generation 602 LEDs are awesome. They draw about 560 watts last time I checked (maybe 30-60 watts go to fans and 480-520 go to the actual light). The real test will be time and if the power drivers/connections are quality, then this light should last at least 6 years, which will make it worth the purchase.

The old Generation 1 lights drew about 460 watts I want to say, but I can double check if I need to. I'm impressed with the units as I have always been, keep it up SG.

To their credit, they have replaced all of my lights free of charge and have honored their warranty.
