i actually only just tilted the light like that because the main cola on that plant is growing taller then the rest. I plan on raising the lights and actually took them off the carabiner to gain some space. I just need to figure out a way since the only way to hang them is the included long wires. However the owner of prosource claims to keep the leds 6 inches max from the tops during flowering.

Thanks for the feedback though anymore is appreciated

Well its been 12 days since my last pictures and a total of a 4 weeks and 2 days. These guys are going great the buds are really starting to blow up and its only about halfway through flowering till harvest.

I still need to add the exhaust fan but I decided to go out and buy an inline fan from home depot which i will attach my homemade filter to. I have enough air coming in until water day comes and then humidity climbs so Ive been leaving the door open somewhat. Overall though temps have stayed around a high of 70-80 and a low of 64, with humidity ranging from 40-55%.

Ill try to post pics at least once every week from now on as I believe these guys should put on some weight in the next 4 weeks. Work has been busy though so Ive been keeping up as much as possible.

Also germinated 3 more today, hope to clone some from this batch now that Im not working as much and will actually have time to do more.

i like what youre doing.

what exact dresser dimensions are you working with?
i want to know because ive been hesitant to make my cab
with the one i have now and holding off to buy a larger ikea one.
just to get an idea.

Are your UFOs red and blue 50/50 I have one it's all blue tho.. More for veg. That look tasty tho man keep up the good work

Portmeister- the dresser is about 4' high by 3' wide and 2' deep

Indagrow- the UFO.s are 80% red 15 blue and the rest is infrared that's an estimate though nothing exact

bikefast- If you mean how many bulbs are on each light there is 90 1 watt leds on each light. I have two of them from prosource.

Ill have a few updated pics up in a couple of hours

This is an awesome grow and totally causing the worst case of nostalgia. My first ever grow, and experience here on RIU was a dresser CFL grow. Same idea with the face, only much more poorly done. I ghetto'd it so good, and unfortunately didn't get to document the finale stages, but It's awesome to see the same thoughts executed differently.
Really been wondering about these LED's seems like this is a great chance to see em in action.
How far are LED's to be away from the plants? I'm guessing they don't produce much heat? Now I'm very interested in this grow.

very nice grow ! ...the dimensions of my cabinet are about the same as yours..i was contemplating buying another UFO and im pretty sure ive made up my mind lol....as far as the carbon filter and fan issues you were pondering..i just bought a 4"x"8 filter and a 4" 180cfm fan off amazon for a total cost of right under $110.00 delivered...also i got my 90w LED UFO from Amazon for $110.00 delivered its 630nm red + 470nm blue diodes.....not trying to promote amazon or take away from the grow shops but in reality you can get the exact same products minus a sticker or 2 on them from amazon ALOT cheaper...hope this helps some of the lower budget growers like myself....Really looking foward to the harvest pics and dry weight numbers !

thanks d.tea I've only got a few grows under my belt but have really taken a liking to this hobby. It's very rewarding seeing how everything turns out in the end, unfortunately I had previous issues with bud rot. To say the least it's probably the worst thing that can happen after investing all your time.

I keep the lights 4-6 inches from the tops, I could keep them closer probably as almost no heat is emitted below them it's all blown up with the three built in fans. With the exhaust off in the dresser temps climb to around 83 degrees but when it's on it stays at 75 depending on the houses temp.

Nug hunter- I did a lot of research before buying my LEDs but I went with the ones I got because of the fact that they're gaurentered to work as good or better then hids. The owner didn't say the exact nanometers each color produced but there are five variations including infrared. Maybe those other lights work good but I'd like to see some cheaper options put to the test before I buy one. Maybe you could make a grow journal using one, I'd love to see one because there is still very little backing these lights up when they clearly work.

Smooth , Here is the link to my pre-journal lol...i wanted to get some advice and opinions before i started the actual grow https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/604331-help-pre-journal-northern-light.html I should be starting my journal here in the next few days..got a few odds and ends to take care of...i will be adding a second 90W LED that has a red/blue/orange/white ratio of 70-10-5-5 ..again it will be from amazon and this one is $119.00 delivered ..way to early to speculate but im hoping this grow will shed some light on the "cheap china vs expensive grow shop light" debate and also the "LED vs HID" debate...although im pretty sure your grow has taken care of the latter LOL ;)

I hope ur amazon light does well. I'm thinking they'll grow fine with it but the light may not last as long as some expensive ones out there, kinda like comparing a Porsche to a Kia. Idk that's my opinion on cheaper LEDs.

Lets see the grow bro ! .....what did you wind up doing about the fan/ carbon filter setup? ...hows the smell? ..also where is the air from your exhaust fan going to?

Right now I just have a 4 inch in line fan as my exhaust with a Honeywell charcoal filter strapped to it. Seems to work well but this strain is a low odor guy mostly

Here they are at over 7 weeks flower. The buds are getting nice and dense, while pulling off dead leaves I noticed the one bud was leaning against the other from its weight. I literally had to pull them apart from being so sticky. I cant believe they're getting so big since I just have them in one gallon pots.

The three new guys I have are going into at least a 10 gallon bin. I just might grow two next to each other one with a 400 watt hps and the other with a 180 watt led and see how they compare.

Should have some harvest pictures in a week or two more, and stick around to see exactly how much they weigh out dried.
