Steam from venting out window?

Simply need to know if venting out a window in the winter will cause steam. Should I vent into the attic instead?

hot air + cold moist air = steam yes some times it will but night time is the only time you should see it, not during the day,

Yes it will steam due to the humidity being exhausted. If you do exhaust through the attic, make sure the exit is up against an outside vent, because that moisture will cause mold and water damage if it builds up inside.

Never had to worry about steam but you might think about running some duct outside so the exhaust can cool down before it gets expelled

you could vent outside in the winter or recirculate it back into your house to save the heat, if worried about smell just carbon scrub the air.

I didn’t want the attention from a 8” stack this winter so I shut my outdoor vent off for this next round and sealed the room with co2, added ac.
