Steamed bonemeal mixed globally

I accidentally mixed steamed bonemeal in my mix yesterday before transplanting a decent sized blue widow plant. In the revs book it says causes nute lockout.... Smh

Did you let it cook before you transplanted? You will def have problems if you didn't.

Yea if it hasnt been cooked in first it will not be good. However, the Rev now says that steamed bone meal is all good mixed globally and he has been doing so for awhile now.

Shit I didn't let it cook... It doesn't say steamed but it isn't granular , it says slow feeding also. It's growmore brand, So what should I do I just transplanted into a 5 gallon the plant is about 3 ft in height

Should I just pull it out n hope the roots didn't go far and Place it in a new mix minus the bonemeal

Did you not allow your soil to sit for a while, or did you allow it to sit and then just added the bone meal at the last minute? If it's the later, you should be fine. "Cooking" your mix in simple terms means allowing the microbes present in your soil (which came from whatever source of compost you used) time to break down and store in bioavailable form the organic amendments that you added. If you didn't allow your mix to sit at all you might run in to some issues as some of the higher N sources can be hot while being broken down, but something like bone meal would be fine. It just won't be available to the plants until the microbes go to work on it.

Yeah, it depends on the ratio,if not much you might get away with it without to much of a problem. Try not use anything with phos in it.

Problem solved since it was only transplanted a couple days ago the roots did not go far I carefully transplanted into new mix with no steam bone meal except in the flowering spikes... Then watered with rain water hopefully this will eliminate any threat of problems

I'll jus let that other mix cook a few weeks then cut it with a base mix. Thanx for all the input guys
