Stem broke, am I ok?

So I recently transplanted my tiny plant outside to veg until the fall, but when I came out today, it appears that the wind snapped the little stem.

So, I took a stick and some string, and I propped the plant up as best I could. Will I be fine?

Did it break all the way through?

If not then I would get some gardeners tape (green tape, stretchy, and not too sticky) and wrap the broken area. I have actually had some plants fuse themselves back together!

If it just bent over without breaking then staking it should be ok.

A picture would be nice but most likely you'll get two shoot coming from where the one broke. But im not sure without a pic.

Thanks guys. Yea, the stem did not break all the way through, but without the stake it falls over. Hopefully it grows a knuckle. I'll try to get a picture.

Had an incident with the yoyo ties, ripped a branch nearly clean off. Just wire tied it yesterday. Seems fine hope yours is too.

they get knocked over in the wild all the time when they are young. even the rain will flatten em. but the jump back like the bad ass little guys they are. it actually will help the plant in the long run by strengthening the stem.
i brake mine on purpose and it does amazing things to them. but they have to be a lot bigger than a seedling.

My two main leaves look quite healthy, and are still fully green. The two other pointy leaves have a little yellow tint in their veins. Is that bad?

Depending on the age of the plant if its still green 2 days after the break you are fine.i have been folding and zip tieing my plants for last year now and i have had some big crops[supercropping]If the plant is still green do not try to straighten her back this will only make things worse. The plant will start to grow up the side of the old stem.
