Stem color?

Hey all,

I've got 3 lemondrop kush seeds just starting to grow, they are just starting their second leaves. What's wierd is that 2 have green stems and one has a purple stem.

Anyone have any idea why? Conditions are virtually identical the purple stem one is the closest to the fan by 3 inches.

MJ plants has two dif. types of chlorophyll [ if spelled right] one purple. and one green we usually see the green . If the room changes temp.by around 25 degress a day the green will change to purple. this does not mean the plant is stronger it's just purple. hope this helps

Usually has somethin to do with starin or the temps, usually some ppl like to keep their plants in lower temps wen th lights are off this can cause it

i have seen purple before but not had any purple streams myself its nothing to worry about, one of the plants i have makes completely red stems on some branches (the flav) as it grows
its just a trait of some plants

its nothing, if the purpling runs up the veins of the leaves then its a difficency
