stem turning yellow/brown

half of the stem on my plant is is brown,almost yellow but the other half is green and looks healthy....
whats going on? not only that, my leaves are really droopy.. i think maybe its cuz i overwatered it.

i have my plant under 4 100w cfls (actual not equivalent) 2 inches away. the soil is MG and it has plant food in it already.
any solutions???

Im having the same problem actually. Leaves are a little droopy and I noticed today the stem is turning yellow from the bottom up. Any help for us please?

Same her fellas mine is two weeks into making my precious and its 2.6 ft. Lots of colas but the stem.is 1/3 brownish light brown. Maybe its the organic compost I'm using. It starts from the bottom up

what do you feed them?

I used miracle grow in veg then went organic for flowering and two weeks before. Organic compost and bat gueno
