Stems turned purple after first time using nutes....normal?

i believe they are staying too moist, which would cause the roots to stay wet an cause slow growth , thus causeing purple stems. (unless its genetics)

850ppm is not too high unless they are tiny.

we need more info..... how big, how old, how wet? air movement..... ect...

the strength of your food an how much you use determines how often to feed them.
