Hi folks!! Steverino here.. Just started my new niche.."weed farming" lol...Tired of not being able to find any, and my stress is going out the roof! SO anyway..Figured I would give it a try..Started putting it together a month or so ago.. after changing, changing and more changing,...This is my final configuration:
Mothers Keeper tent from HTG Suppy..52" x 24" x 48" tall. I will use this for flowering. 400 HPS with Agromax bulb.
240 cfm 4" 12v inline bilge fan for exhaust (might change if I cant find a regulated power supply within reason. fan was only 25 bux though. hooked to a car battery and it blows the leaves of the trees )
4" 80cfm inline intake fan
DIY carbon filter
These will be in the tent only, exhausting into the attic space
Beneath the tent I framed out for a veg area. roughly 3' wide, 20" deep, and 20" tall
covered the inside with that 1/2" foam board with the aluminum covering. Thought that may work ok. 80cfm going out, and PC fan coming in. Havent finished yet, but it will have cabinet doors that seal when shut. The lighting will be 24 hrs. of roughly 10, 26w 6500k CFL's and 2, 2700k CFL's just for balance. Probably use this cab till they are 8" or so tall, and move them "upstairs" in the flower tent. I will still veg in there at 18/6 till they are 12" - 24" high depending on strain, then switch to 12/12 and force to flower. SO far, I have only bag seeds, but just ordered some Nirvana White Widow, and [FONT=Tahoma, sans-serif]De Sjamaan purple Widow[/FONT]. Plus the to UFO freebies. This outta be neat to watch. I will make this thread my journal, and update often throughout the process. BTW, my media consist of:
50% MG Potting Mix
25% MG Perlite
25% Worm Castings
