How many Sticky's can one forum have?? I am all for a subsection that has all the sticky's, so I dont have to scroll half way down the page to see the new threads.
I see nothing wrong with an occasional foliar feed during veg. The big question is how occasional a frequency are we talking here.
As mentioned, toxic or maybe not so much toxic as obnoxious build up on the leaves may not be the best thing. Would following up the next day with a pure water misting / rinse be a good policy??? I think so YMMV.
Correct me if I am wrong.... but I have heard that misting with pure water [or good old fashioned rain] makes otherwise inaccessible Nitrogen in the air available to the plants. SO..... Misting with pure water is a mild foliar feeding all by itself. No goofy micronutrients, fulvics, humics, seaweeds, gibberilics, brassilinoids, chitisans, goofinoids, slime emulsions, super thrivenoids etc required.
IF that is the case, that natural outdoor plants are getting a foliar feed every time it rains.... wouldn't misting, and perhaps light foliage feeds be an obvious part of the regimen if your trying to simulate what happens outside in the real world during the veg cycle???
