Still waiting patiently for plant sex!

Hi all!
It's been about to weeks since I last posted.
I'm still waiting patiently for my plants to show sex. I believe what I'm seeing right now is the primordia.

I've posted a few shots of the plants. Feel free to comment and share your thoughts.

Thanks!20141003_144613.jpg20141003_144624.jpg

Looks happy n healthy, but honestly, could use a lil' more light........ Are you using CFL's?
As far as sex, what is your light schedule, and if you've already flipped to 12/12, how long since?
I have had some take as long as 3 weeks after the flip, with 2-4 weeks of veg to show genitalia.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm currently running 600watt MH at16/8. They're about 17in tall and have been vegging for about 2months now.
I've been hesitant to change the light cycle because I haven't seen any sign of sex. I don't know if that's correct.

As for the lighting issue, maybe an easy fix would be to line the room with mylar to better reflect the light?

Have a great evening :bigjoint:

Ok bud, heres whats up. Your plants wont show sex until about a week and a half-two weeks AFTER you flip the lights to the flowering cycle (12/12). 18/6 will just happily keep them growing upwards an outwards without a care in the world about who their sharing a light with. If it were me id flip to 12/12, sex them, kill that taller male (maybe ), keep those two shorter females ;) then as soon as you have them sexed (10days about), flip the lights back to your 18/6 light cycle and reveg your females and let them grow until they fill the potential of that 600 watt light. Who knows, you may only be left with one or no plants. Hope for two and ill hope with ya ;) the important thing is that you dont keep babysitting males, kill em asap and then get those things out of those pots you stole from your moms garden shed and into some smart pots or air pots. The black ones ok but those other two gotta go lol. I wouldnt transplant quite yet though because i doubt that when tose plants come out that they have a root ball large enough to hold all that dirt together quite yet, so the dirt and roots may collapse on ya and mess the root ball up. A couple more weeks and theyll be holding all that dirt together like a straight jacket ;) then you can grow em into monsters and flip em so your not wasting any of that 600 watts potential and youll be smokin for a long ass time. Good luck.

looks healthy but pretty stretchy, how far away is/was the 600?
They do look tall but it may just be the genetics. Ive had taller and more stringy from seed. When they get flipped theyll (should) bush out more. I think they look A ok. Theres not much else to do besides running t5s to keep the internode length shorter sometimes. The clones should be tighter as well.

Maybe I misunderstood, but if you are still on 18/6 (I'm assuming your "16/8" was a mis type?) you won't see sex.
You're gonna have to drop to 12/12.
Only decision is how long do you want to veg them.
I don't think you'll benefit much from any more vegging, if you've already been at it for 2 months.
BTW, bring your light closer, or raise your plant, and 'yes', Mylar will help a lot.
I see lots of dark area in there from the shadows and no light being reflected off the sides.

Yea it would be good to position brightness around those plants do to fact that their not bushy. And light would penetrate effectively. The tallest plant watch closely. But they healthy and good looking. Ill share one of my girls with you. Today is my 3 day of 12/12 working with all i have. :peace:

Plants WILL show sex in veg once they reach maturity. Your plants have not reached that point yet (leaves arent alternating)

Also, your plants are stretching. Get the light closer for tighter nodes. Look stretched out plants will struggle to support kush and wont pull as much nutes up.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the GREAT Info!

I took some advice from a few of you guys and made a few adjustments to the grow room.

I now have a light timer, thermometer, and I lowered the lights. I still havent gotten around to lining the room with mylar.

Regardless, I went ahead and set the timer to 12/12 rather than turning the lights on and off manually. (Fiiinally!! Haha)
They did grow a little taller BUT I may have a problem.... 20141011_002206.jpg20141011_002152.jpg 20141011_002018.jpg
These are shots from each plant and it appears as if they are males :(

Thougjts?
