stinky water ?

i have a 30 gallon tote that i catch water with as well as a rain barrel . my rain barrel is empty but the tote was full of leaves and had some grass in it from mowing and is full of brown stinky water , smells septic. its been there since summer filling and running over and whatever . i havent had to get any water out of it until now is it ok ? im growing in 4.5 gallon hempybucket 25/75 vermiculite/perlite using ff growbig , molasses thrivealive green and tigerbloom and in first week of flowering . thanks for any input :leaf:

well i guess it is ok b'cuzz i used it and nothing has adversely affected it in bout 48 hrs . thanks for everyones views i know u all ment well :dunce:

Using nasty water like that is a crapshoot. Maybe it won't hurt anything but think about all the b.s. that could be in there. Bugs, bacteria (good and bad), fungus..........I wouldn't chance it if it was me. :cool:

Just use tapwater (as much as i hate it with soil grows its cheaper than bottled water) if you use nutrients with it i would suggest flushing the soil every 2 weeks because of salt build up also if you do use it i wouldn't use it for flowering because your buds will taste nasty lol
