Hey I just smoked 2 bowls. But on the first go i had a metal screen in my glass spoon... But the second bowl i didn't use it... The herb was lit easier, and i can taste it ALOT more. And not to mention there is alot more smoke!!! ALOT more.... So I was wondering if you guys know why it was so much more harder for me to smoke with the screen in? And i had just cleaned the screen too...

What if i used a glass screen??? I lost mine and cant remember how it smoked with them in it... But would it cause the same thing to happen as the metal screens?

Not sure why it would cause it if the screen was clear

if you can work the carb right you shouldnt need a screen

yeah i'm beginning to understand that now... alittle late... lol Not to mention its harder to clean the bowl of ash which a screen..

no i mean.. the bowl part.. just while your smoking so you gotta get the ash out....

i only use glass screens, never had a problem.

but when I clean my bowl I pull the screen out.

yeah i had bought 2 glass screens and i lost both of them somehow.... lol O well.. I'm getting 280 dollars for a guitar i'm selling to a friend.. just gotta wait for his next paycheck.. Ill probably buy some screens, maybe a grinder, and a bunch of BEATLY buds.... like five eighths... to me thats alot...

Working the carb! Dont take your whole finger off. slowly ease up on the top end and as you take more of the hit in keep sliding your finger/thumb downwards. I smoke bowls more than anythings and have really gotten the hang. My bowl has a good size hole in it too and i never get weed and or ash in my mouth

well luckily for me, i have a pretty pig spoon... And it curves up fore going into the mouth hole... So some of the ash will get stuck there

I never use a screen in my bowls. When its cached just tap it into your hand and dump into an ashtray.
