125mm RUCK inline fan - you prob wont need one though, I went 2 years without any extraction I just had a oscillating fan in the tent before that, with one of those B&Q clip fans running in the intake at the bottom of the tent

Yeah you prob wont need one, but a 400W HPS in a tent smaller than mine will get hot with no sort of venting.. as long as you have on oscillating fan in there you'll be ok.
I had to get a inline fan as the smell was venting back into the room & when you're in full flower with a hot tent the whole flat/block started stinking to high heaven!

I think they are solid pieces of legislation I'll read into it now you've said that but it's to stop the police from basically wasting money catching small 'hobby' growers and go more for the big time, I mean it costs on average over £10,000 just to scramble a chopper and if they only catch a grow worth say about 8oz which is what £1600 minimum you can see the maths lol

Yeah right, makes sense... esp with the debt this country is in.. seems like a no-brainer. Next step too legalise Cannabis & tax us to the hilt on it? we could wave goodbye to
the national debt in about 5 years if they tax us as much as they do on Tobacco & Alcohol.

Ah you were right, it's basically decriminalizing but not lol

The new guidelines do seem pretty clear: If you are a small time quiet “hobby grower” not involved in any form of supply – especially to children – and no other offences are involved the guidelines for Production/Cultivation are:

Lesser role ‘if own operation, solely for own use (considering reasonableness of account in all the circumstances)’, 9 plants (domestic operation with assumed yield of 40g per plant): the sentence you can expect is in the range of a discharge or possibly a medium level community order.

(LOL at the assumed 40g per plant but I'm not going to dispute it XD)

but yeah I think the 4" may be a tad small bigger will always be better if you can afford it, plus the larger carbon filter that comes with it should last a tad longer and/or work better!
 
I try keep it as 2 in veg 4 on flower when all up and running with new tent and even though I supply I will just blag it and say its all for me! :) touch wood never get caught! It's hard work hiding it from the mrs! Pricing up 5" kit and my tent now!

Yeah I have a MAX of 8 plants at once as I'm trying to start a perpetual grow, I only supply to cover my costs so if I need some nice nutes I'll flog off a few scores and maybe an ounce or 2 to cover start up for that particular grow.

Damn hiding it from the Mrs, hard work, mine knows and is happy for me to do it 'cause it's just like a hobby I enjoy doing it we both (well me more than her) smoke it sooo yeah :)

It's the landlords I worry about, have to proper lock up my box and hide it away when they're down...

You any good with DIY, I always find it more worth building a box from some 2x4 and wooden sheets, they're so sturdy and give you much better scope for controlling environment in my opinion anyway. Check out my grow in my sig that's a perfect ScrOG box XD
 
I grow in my parents house were I live too. They are more then happy and let
me plod along. Like you I sell to cover costs mainly. And to my best mate. Only him. Thing is I never trust women as far as can throw em after messy break up with my ex. For now only been with my girl for nearly 2 months and she don't mind me smoking or dropping it off to mates but that's different thing. Don't want it to come back bite me on arse if we split!

I would attempt to build something but 1. I'm shit at DIY 2. I always worry wood + heat = fire :/

Am I wrong?tent and 5" RUCK looking to cost £150 ish.

And nah wood is more than safe my 250w is proper close to the wood, no problems :) had a 400w a few years back in a wood box too.. it's cardboard you should worry about!

That looks the bollocks! I would make it big. Gives me an idea of another option at least.

Thinking ruck fan on site you sent or eBay as bit cheaper on there from Charlie's hydro and a tent off there too. Just in tent less noticeable then my cupboard as now my mrs stays over a lot im switching off lights when she over so she don't see glow around cupboard door! It's not good really. If get tent get to move it to parents room and then be out the way.
 
Cheers, I'm estimating anything from 100-250g I can get out of that box (guessing from previous similar grows I've done and those yields)
Got about 90g off 1 plant under CFL's last time round ScrOgging in a smaller cab! :)

I'd definitely suggest a filter at some point, if your getting the fan now I'd get a filter with it, they tend to be quite a bit cheaper when you buy bundles!

Completely irrelevant but have you seen the documentary called 'the union'? fucking brilliant it really makes you go ffs just legalise it!!!

The kit is secret Jardin DS90 tent with 5" ruck fan, ducting and carbon filter buy it now £155.94 + P&P £9.75. Sounds good to me!

Na I haven't seen it. What year was it made? Have to try find it.

but yes that sounds like a damn good deal! better than most hydro shops even online ones (that I've seen)
 
Get saving then! Got atleast 2/3 weeks till mrs back over. Got first lot TGA gear other day. 5 reg Agent Orange. Hear his stuff killer potency and yield pretty good too! Any experience his stuff? Also as only got 5 seeds wanna get atleast one male and then pollinate some of one the females. Hear only need to pollinate like 1 branch to get tons of seeds!

Im struggling to clone! Seems impossible. Heated propagate. Clonex. Root riot cubes. 125w cfl. No roots! Driving me nuts.
 
Yeah TGA strains sound amazing only issue I have with them is I don't have space to root out the males. Best bet for pollination is collect the pollen sacks just before they burst remove that male (ridiculously gently) from the women as you don't want all of your bud seeded then open a pollen sack away from the grow room put a little bit on a paintbrush and 'paint' some pollen on whatever bud you choose to pollinate, you'll get quite a few seeds from it just do some research on how long to let the seeds mature as I'm not sure.

Cloning takes 1-2 weeks to show roots and then they'll be tiny little stubby roots! though I'd just use plain rockwool cubes OR get those party cups from poundland make some drainage holes, fill with soil and do the cloning process as normal. Are you cutting the clones and putting them into a glass of water for a bit, while you gather more clones?

I use this stuff from B&Q it's just a hormone powder costs about 89p or so and from the clones I've taken in veg and put into a veg cycle I've had 100% success.

Na I literally cut the clone, dunk clonex, stick in ore made root riot hole and push it together. Stick in my big propogator.

I tried the cheap party cup way and still couldn't get it working. Tbh current clones from flowering plant. Wi be trying from a plant I'm currently re-begging. A lovely humblest skunk that yielded well. How big of clone do you take?

I keep light on 24/0.
