Good thought, that is the way nature does it. Too much is given to exactly 12/12, the sun doesn't just switch on and off. But I don't think you can veg and flower together. The dark periods need to be really dark, like 95% dark.
yes i AGREE in my first grow i used flouresttnt side lighting, always have it turn on 15-60mins be fore my mainlight turns on, that makes the light u c with your eyes be fore the sun comes up, plants grew great and have it stay on after inital light goes off 2 create the after noon period, besides i think i will be getting digital timers . and try 12/16 for bud maybe try 14/14 or 14/16 and c what that does why dont we just veg on 14/6 and then bud on 14/12?? this belongs in the catagorie on light manipulation
something about raising your lights 2 18/12 during the middle of your grow and then lowering then back in like a few weeks idk how thios works, im thinking about starting a journal on how much sun we get every day and date it so if dumb ass me started a journal at the begging of summer i could calculate the perfect summer by recording the hours of light from veg 2 bud,,,,o well maybe nexed summer
