Stopping Mold With Pen Torch

interesting, I am having Botrytis problems myself, I am dealing with 100% RH almost nightly. I have been spraying with "Actinovate" which claims to have benificial bacteria that fights off the mold. It has been working to some extent, but it does keep coming back. The spray is just slightly keeping it at bay. I will try this with a torch lighter tmrw on a small branch and give it a day or two and post my results. At this point I am willing to try anything!! Oh how I hate stem/bud rot...

All the other high end stuff I have seen here: Ion generator? If it will work for athletes foot crank it up with air movement. Just do not try the 'Solar Panel" root thing at same time/

I used this method 3 times now with that stem mold. It kills it and does not return.

i was with a friend at a plant nursery not to long ago, and while in line paying for some nutrients, I overheard a woman who had mold on her tomato plants. the guy behind the counter recommended using a torch to slowly burn it off. so props to you 5150! intelligent people often have they're intelligence mistaken for madness.....
