Storing for long term.

Hey all.
I am growing well right now, and with my legal 6 plant count(Colorado), am growing more than I and my partner can smoke.
Can't legally sell it. Am good with that.
Have about 24 ounces of stash right now.
So, shutting down most of the grow for a while. Running 2 small tents and will shut them down as they finish what they are doing.

But I still have that 24 ounces. All in air tight containers.
What is the best way to store this for long term?

Some.

Glass comtainers...typically I use green quart size Mason jars...air tight and darker colored to minimizing the effects of light on the THC....tho THC will degrade over time anyway!

Hmmmm...my experience with the boveda packs wasn't that great!

As you can see I have/had hygrometers in my jars (s).

I had two jars that were both at 55% a buddy of mine gave me some boveda packs to bring up the Rh for storage.

I decided to do an unscientific experiment. I placed a boveda pack in the lid of 1 jar and left the other as it was...remember they both started at 55%.

After a couple days the jar with the boveda pack went up 2% to 57% while the other jar stayed stable at 55%.

Your mileage may vary...!

Cheers

Seal it up and freeze it. Allow any jar you want to use to warm to room temp before opening but it'll keep for a couple years at least in the freezer.

I never get around to freezing it and rather enjoy the way it changes as it sits for a couple years until it eventually gets recycled into edibles or cocobudder.

:peace:
