can i store my herb in the freezer after i have harvested it? if so for how long will it retain it potency? i can see how this question might have an obvious answer but i dont know for sure. the reason i inquire is because i have some grapefruit growing for a friend but they wont be here for a couple months so i need a way to store it over a long period of time. thanks for any help

As Dweze says just wonderfully without a single word, store it in Mason jars after curing is done ;)

Your best bet would be mason jars in a cool dry place, Probably not a bad idea to use the Boveda 62% humidipaks, they should last 6 months, and only cost about $1each on amazon.
