storing in freezer

does anyone store there buds in a freezer here? i hear it makes it smoke longer? stays potent longer i dont know. whats the verdict
 
Its not recommended to put in the freezer due to the resin glands freezing like lil icicles and when we handle them, they break off and drop in the bottom of the container.
 
I'd always put my bag in my mini freezer if I was leaving. Smoked nice, I'll prolly stick to jars though on my harvest. :weed:
 
so say i were to put my buds in the freezer for storage and then let it thaw a little before smoking-they stay fresh and potent- not a harsh smoke or anything? i can just expect a little breakage if i handle it too roughly right out of the freeze? what about just using the refrigerator?

yea man im not worried about whether its going to get me lit. its just i want to know the best for long time storage and optimal performance. ive always just kept my buds in medicine jars and it tends to dry out and get a little harsh. its good bud and still a good smoke im just curious because a friend mentioned the freezer - and i turned here because this is the place with all the answers
 
yeah my bad if i came off harsh dude im a lil drunk on some cuervo.. sorry. personally i'd go with freezer. It keeps weed tasting fresh.. then again i've smoked 25 year old weed that tasted amazing and it wasnt harsh at all and wasnt freezed. i always freeze buds tho because it tastes fresh to me and cold buds feel cool to break up or pack in a bowl. I even put mids in the freezer. In jars tho. Always use jars because it doest crush your beautiful nugs. i just got blue balled by the way. got half sex half head and no nut :( shoot me in the face god damn it

For long term I will: Air tight zip lock & tuperware container. Short term I have a tuperware that seals really well. So i just pull out what I need for the day.
 
yea i like the tupaware/pyrexware idea - ive been using medicine bottles and i just dont have enough space in the bottles-i will be investing in some - thanks guys
