Lets talk about those incredible strains or phenotypes that were so incredible but somehow got away from you.
I will start the story with a few:
Back in the early 90's I had a bag seed grow, not like they had seed companies back then. This one plant was totally incida, very dense nugs, so frosty the buds looked silver with bright orange hairs, I called it I-1 for indica #1. One morning I woke up, well rested and noticed the I-1 buds were dry, time for my first try. I should note that I have a VERY high tolerance. I ripped a one hitter on my bong and 5 minutes later I was in bed back asleep. About 3 hours later I woke up, not long after took another hit, back to bed! That was truly one hitter quitter stuff, never had anything like it.
Another I grew for over 7 years, Shiva. Ordered from Nirvana back in 2001ish with other beans as an afterthought because the picture was early flower and not impressive but everything in the description fit the bill.

Of all the packs I ordered, including AK-47, B-52, K2, Ice and their Skunk #1 freebies only the Shiva was a "winner". 8 of 10 were female and all were very consistent. She was amazing weed, very heavy indica stone but no couch lock, heavy yields, truly done in 60 days of 12/12. Mold / mildew tolerance was amazing. Clones rooted easy. Everything about her was amazing. Never built a tolerance to it, nobody did, even after 7 years. That strain was very good to me, I would love to get my hands on the pure Shiva again but I can only find crosses now like a Shiva Skunk and Shiva Shanti.
After moving to Colorado I went on a clone hunt and had over 30 some odd strains. Out of all of those, the only one that truly impressed me was a phenotype of Kandy Kush. Yields were staggering. I mean staggering. Massive logs, lots of them. A fella I met on this forum came to my house once and witnessed it in person and was blown away. Amazing lemon flavor with a little pine and added a little kerosene note as she hit ripe. This was high quality buzz, very sativa, no couch lock, great party or work weed. She would grow very fast, stretched a lot but filled those branches with massive logs, support required. I have had another phenotype of Kandy Kush that was very different, more of an OG smell, no lemon or pine, about half the yields but an excellent yielder, just not like the other pheno that put out numbers that were up around 2 GPW!
So what are some of the strains you grew in the past that you wish you still had?
