Northern lights is allways a must have in my garden, would also highly recomend blue rhino from hgs... If your a strain collector great strain 
Northern Lights is always a good first choice.....it's forgiving and easy. I grew the Bubblelicious recently and it wasn't that good- yielded fine but quality was only average. Anything with Haze is never a good choice for a newbie- typically they grow tall and are nute sensitive. The Vanilla Kush probably would be a good choice too so either N.L. or V.K.

What size space are you growing in, also it depends on what type of plant you would like to grow. I mean what kind of 'High' are you looking to produce? just a couple of questions for now, there are many more to Factor. Selecting your strain, is the Most important thing when growing, i mean, if you have expectations then you can select appropriately.

What kind of growing are you doing? Hydro or dirt? If you're going dirt check out my first journal entry for a great growing medium that has worked awesome with my past two grows. I'd go with NL as thats one of my wifes favorite strains and the haze. I know a lot of first grows involve making start up money back so you might benefit with going with the indicas just cause theyre more of a "sure bet" (no such thing haha) than going with a sativa. I did a little of both with my first grow and obviously shit wasnt nearly as good as I expected quality wise but the sativa gave me more yield which helped pay off some of the start up debt. Overall its your call but if you dont care about "having to have X amount" I would try both just so you can build on future grows with your knowledge from the first.

True.. Thanks a lot. Yeah i'm def gonna go with the purple haze and prob NL now since its so popular and supposedly easy to grow. I've also got a Great White Shark auto outside to give me a lil somethin to puff on while im waiting on the big boys.. or girls hopefully haha. But yea thanx 4 the advice. Any other strains u recommend for future grows? Was looking at that C99.. Looks bomb

My last grow I got some clones from a buddy and Cindy 99 was the bomb! Wish I held one back to keep as a mother. Also had some pineapple express and that shit was fruity. I'm working with some beans I had sitting around the house for awhile and just never got a chance to use so Ill have some input when I finish this batch. Check my journal for what strains I have but yet Id grab some Cindy 99 for sure.

Couldnt tell ya if its "hard" or not cause I use a schedule that take a lotta guess work outta it. Other people have given me shit for the schedule but it works so I could give a rats ass what they think She turned out very nice and was my favorite out of the 7-10 different strains I had with pineapple a close second. I use a mix with FFOF and it has a lot of good shit in it so ya thats good. Check out my journal if you're interested in my soil mix. FF nutes should be a good starter recipe/schedule so you should be good with that.. never used it but have heard other people say they had good results.

Northern Lights is crazy easy to grow , high tolerance to stress , so i like to lst and supercrop when i grow N.l
Plus N.L has very low odor also , even though carbon filters are good when i grew my N.L i did not use one and their was no odor problem ( more then one though is a different story lol )
N.L also makes for some good edibles , man i made some brownies with the N.L and they fkin rocked my world
These are the first batch of brownies i made with N.L last yr ---

My wife knows dick about ganja and its her favorite smoke... I had to hide it on her cause she wasnt smoking anything else but the c99. Its a cougher for sure but I love the taste... It was wicked frosty and looked white compared to my other buds. Its been 5-6 weeks since I smoked so she'll be the first one I grab once I get a job.
Not sure if you heard the news but fucking lofton and hawthorne are both injured and are questionable for week 1. Seems like half our damn team is hurt and I dont like the way thats panning out with our new defensive system. Hopefully everyone can get healthy and stay healthy so we have a chance at a home super bowl run. Already told the wife if they make it to the superbowl we're going no matter how much tickets cost.

Word. Thanks a lot bra. How's the smoke with NL? Like taste, effects and all.. Only thing that makes me hesitant is the 'earthy' description it has on genehtik's page. I just dont want something that tastes like dirt of something lol.. Ive had earthy weed before and that shit gave me a massive headache haha

The N.l smoke is very smooth , I have to take BIG ass fkin hits to try to get a cough going lol
The taste was not bad at all , really , no dirt taste , ( trying to think back lol im blazed off some Auto Agent 47 atm lol ) but for sure their was no dirt taste
I like to harvest with trichomes all cloudy so i was lmao with the N.L it was really enjoyable , I have some N.L blue that im gonna grow out after my afghan kush are done

That's exactly what I'm doing.... (Dutch Passion's) Blueberry (80I 20S) and Strawberry Cough (75S 25I) or leaning towards Freddy's Best too (95S 5I). I'm also using Berry as a sweetener for these so this should be an interesting first grow for me..lol
