So I been wanting to start a thread dedicated to the growers and the medical benefits you find with certain strains. I have recently noticed the more I grow and particular strain/pheno. I can dictate what strains have the highest medical quality and the ones that dont are took out the garden. I will kick it of with DNA sour cream. Out all the strains in my garden this has the best medical quality. It offers immediate relief for depression, nausea, and great motivator. I would recommended it to anyone lacking motivation and I even replaced the pepto bismol in my medicine cabinet with sour cream. I love to here about other strains so feel free and jump right in.

In my opinion this is making it a bit too scientific. I know that the MJ can help on several stuff like what you explain, but the amount of THC, your mood, amount, delivery method etc. has a lot to do with it too.
Indicas often hold more CBD, which gives you a more meallow high compared to a clean THC-high. Different amount of these two main active cannabinoids will alter the high, but i really doubt that you can write down so precisely what illnesses the different strains affect.

I would make two categories:

1: High THC - Low CBD:

2: High CBD levels:

I'm very sure a lot of people will disagree on this, but i just find it too much sometimes. No matter what it is still two main ingredients we take CBD and THC - (and a lot of different cannabinoids with little or no effects on a high).

Maybe put up like this to simplify:

THC - racy effects that's mostly in the head - (the Espresso of Marijuana)

CBD - less racy and more calm body stone - (the Morphine of Marijuana)

Mix these two things to the coctail that fits you.

It just makes no sense to me to put a whole hybrid strain into any group since most of our strains are hybrids between Sativa and Indica leaving us with a GREAT variety in highs from each phenotype. One pheno could produce more CBD than another. A person who buys a packet of 5-10 seeds might not even get the same pheno, that someone else used to describe the strain.

Just my thoughts of this subject

+rep good info I wanted to find more less have people list what effects a certain strain gives them. I know with different pheno are different effects but I feel like patients need some type of description of what a strain can do for them. This idea came from going to dispensary and not know what strains can help with what aligments. If I depressed I might not want a high CBD strain I want more thc. Say if I had spasms at night like a ms patient I have does I would recommoned a high CBD strain like a og kush. that's the best way I can describe it I'm of some bubba kush so you get the picture.

Mr Nice Seeds Medicine Man Cant go wrong

Mr Nice Seeds Medicine Man is a proven medical marvel for those in need of high levels of the most active ingredient, THC. Almost toxic at times, so handle with care: don’t abuse the Medicine Man. It has won many awards since its introduction as the White Rhino in the late 90’s. Mr Nice Seeds Medicine Man has an incredible strong genetic heritage stemming from a Brazilian sativa/South Indian hybrid combined with a prodigious-yield Afghani.
It is a member of the White Widow family and a proven champion for medicinal users. Those who prefer indoors can expect an incredibly resinous and compact Indica appearance from this plant. It's cannabis seeds has an expected flowering time of 56 to 60 days. Outdoor growers in the northern hemisphere can expect harvest around October and those in the southern hemisphere by May..
