Strains how do you know for sure?

Curious, how do you know for sure what strain you have? When I was a young pup all we got to choose from if I remember correctly was brown weed, columbian gold, sensi, skunk and your basic dirt weed which was crappy brown weed.

There are so many strains and it looks like to me when I see pictures of plants growing they look the same to me. Sure you can tell an indica from a sativa but how do you know for instance if you have a bubba kush or a pineapple kush.

Never mind I guess I just searched for another kush name because I couldn't think of one and it was posted that you couldn't really tell what strain it was if you didnt already know. Which doesnt make sense really. I guess I am growing milf weed like on that show weeds.

Actually I have strawberry cough/white widow = so I have been told.

u wnt no for sure when u smoke it, there are so many strains out there 100's upon 100's and ur tellin me youve tried them all and have a photographic memory bank that remembers what the flavor, high and and smell of it, and alot of weed has very similar smoke, theres no way to no strain unless u bought seeds from a reputable seed bank or bought clones/seeds from a reputable dispensary

If you order from a seed bank online the seeds come sealed in the origional breeder packs, so you know for sure the strain and quality is what your looking for. Also get femanized seeds. they save time, space and money
