So more and more of these strange bugs I have never seen keep appearing on these plants. I am not sure if they cause harm or leave residue if their just seasonal? Does anyone know the names of this type of bug so I can research it? Thanks for any help.

I believe thats just dirt and other plant things blown in the wind because these plants are inside a heavily wild grown area, But you may be right id have to inspect again once more thorough

So actually water the plants with neem oil ? Not spray the leaves where the bugs are? Thanks for helping any info is good.

They are for sure leafhoppers dude, now go research them and find out what to do.... also neem should be applied to the leafs before dark preferably to avoid any burning...

Yes....you want to water them cause it works from the inside to repel ALL leaf munchers....I use it while in veg...I do not spray because I have no bugs and this makes sure I don't get any...you on the other hand may need to spray and like chewie said do it at sundown or lights out to prevent burn...good luck man

Have you tried watering them with it? It's organic and works great as a preventitive...I water once a week with the neem and when I go into flower I stop and do nothing but top my soil and watch them bud :bigjoint:

No I don't but I'm sure you can, not to void your method at all but here is what I have found.. Any cilantro near by? http://www.onthegreenfarms.com/fruit-vegetable/how-to-grow-organic-cilantro-coriander/ scroll down to where you see leafhoppers you will see a pic that will help confirm...

Leafhoppers are always a threat wherever cilantro is grown. Leafhoppers may transmit a disease called Aster’s Yellows.
Leaf hoppers are small, somewhat triangular variable-colored insects that hang out on the undersides of leaves or on stems.
They suck the juices out of plant leaves and inject stunting microorganisms into the plant’s leaves. They may stunt your cilantro’s growth or if the infestation is heavy, even kill your plants.
Insecticidal soap spray, neem oil, pyrethrum, and/or Diatomaceous Earth (DE) have all been effectively used by organic gardeners to control these pests..

Much appreciate all the advice, now time to put it into action. Can someone sum up what steps to take to most effectively get rid or control these bugs from all the information given in this thread. Thanks.
