Strange phenomenon or genetic mutation?

I've been mixing my own this grow. (I got it from Vega) Fafard professional potting soil (no nutes in it) perlite (about 30%) and I added dolomite lime. I've been really happy with it...ZERO fungus gnats (Had swarms of them in MG soil)...drainage is superb I really have no regrets but I hear so much about the Ocean Forest I just want to give it a try. I figure doing a side by side will tell me if all the hype is legite. I already know what to expect from what I'm using now...
Oooo side-by-side. Where do I sign up?

I'm using Ocean Forest but I might switch soils next grow, The Ocean Forest is a great soil only thing I had to do was add some extra lime to it. I want to try using a soil recipe that Dank420 gave me for my next run...:weed:

Okay slow down lol, I really did not do anything special except for training her, I just gave her plain tap water added a little extra lime and just a little bit of nutes always less then what the bottle says. This is how I do it, I water, water, light feed, water see how she is doing if she looks like she is hungry a little more food but I never overdue it, I transplanted her twice she is now in a 5 gallon bucket that a drilled plenty of drainage holes in, I used the smart pot last time it also worked great only problem I could say is with the smart pots when your done with them its a bitch to get the the root ball out All the roots get attached to the pot and it makes it a bitch to pull that bitch out, I hope this helps a little, I suck at explaining things as you can tell I wish i was as detailed as Pinworm is I love how his post are always so detailed, Let me know if there is something I did not explain and i will try my best to answer you

Soiless media is any media that does not have soil. Like my hydro bucket has hydroton, which is a soiless media.

Potting soil used in your mix? Your growing in soil.

No potting soil in your mix? Then it's usually referred to as a hempy bucket mix.

Example: Vermiculite, Peat moss, Perlite @ 1:3 ratio is considered hempy. And, Ocean Forest is considered organic soil, because it contains living microbes (and potting soil).
