Yeah I've been reading a bit and all those points are very common lol. I can't wait to see the yield difference! And keep all this damn dirt off my floor!!!
the yields will be higher but the growth is incredible. sometimes an inch or more a day. they grow like a weed. lol.

i wouldn't go that long. then you might start getting deficiencies and have a new problem.

i never feed full strength. i use EC not ppm and i usually feed around 1.0 to 1.2 (you can convert that to ppm depending on what type of meter you use).

i changed my res out every week. in between, i would just top off with RO or distilled and no nutes. when you add nutes instead of plain water, you run the risk of overfeeding because you don't really know what they are eating N,P, or K wise. they might have only eaten a bit of N and then you give more N and then you have a tox issue.

after every 2 weeks, i'd give a 24hr flush to clean out excess nutes and have a clean slate.
Makes sense for sure. Think that is how this problem started ... I will def follow this and hope for a nice recovery ..Thanks again .. Ill post back hopefully with some progress in a couple days

Ok took your advice guys ..and looks like we are back in action :bigjoint: ... Did the 24 Hr flush and feed the half nute dose rkymtnman hooked me up with for DG . Also as DIY mentioned about stacking my nutes , this time I am adding Ph'd water only to the rez during the week and will not feed again until I do the weekly rez change. Flowers are growing again and all is looking good !!!! I just read that after week 3 the next few weeks are the most important in the bloom phase .. Glad this happened sooner rather than later ... Thanks Again Guys

rkymtnman do you happen to have a copy of that DG feeding schedule you got the half dose from ? I would love to have a copy of it for future runs ;) ... I run the entire DG line and sounds as if that would really come in handy.

Well guys got everything back on track so I think .. But now my damn PH is dropping like crazy overnight .. I Ph to around 5.8 - 6.0 and by the next day it drops way down to 4.2 approx. Also I am now into week 4 of flowering and I have small buds forming with lots of pistils everywhere but I don't see them swelling up or forming into buds yet. Also not much Trichome activity going on at all yet. I figured at 4 weeks I should have at least small buds starting to form with some Trichomes but they still look as it they are in the beginning of flowering rather 4 weeks .. I have my fingers crossed that they will take off all the sudden. Seems as if they should be more formed then thay are at this stage of flowering.

You could always look up the strain and see how long the flower period is and when other people start to see the buds swelling? For my two strains it's about 3 weeks in when the buds really start to gain size. Also some strains dong give nice dense tight nugs... But from what I've read hydro is supposed to make flowering a bit shorter? As far as the ph goes are you sure your meter is calibrated correctly and that the batteries are fresh? Also don't forget as plants use water and leave nutrients behind that they don't need you're ratio of fertilizer to water changes and as you know adding fertilizer to water causes the ph to drop. Hope this helps bud.

Hello everyone my Nirvana NL ( DWC ) Grow is now into the middle of the third week of flower and a few days ago I started to notice some of the fan leaves are curling downward and getting very skinny. About a week ago I did a 6 hour flush before going full strength on my nutrients. After the flush I feed ( Pro-Tekt , Bloom , Mag-Pro ) all DG along with a little SM-90. This last feeding was the highest PPM's the entire grow and came out to approx 512 ppm, seems as if this strain does not like heavy nutes at all as I had slight nute burn issues during veg when I went higher than 450ppm and that was well into veg ( 6-7 weeks ). My Ph has been pretty constant between 5.8 - 6.1. But during the time I started noticing this issue the Ph would drop daily down to 4.8 - 5.2 which was strange as it has been pretty consistent up until this. Assuming this has something to do with Nutrients , I am currently flushing again with distilled water only at 6.0 Ph . I am thinking of letting it flush for the next 48 hours and then adding a lower dose of my nutrients and maybe keep the ppm's right around 400 max ... Any suggestions ? Also I was wondering could this be a natural thing for this strain in flowering? I have never flowered NL before and kind of just playing it by eye and ear ..Thanks in advance for any info

Here are a few pics depicting what I am speaking of .....

Had too little nutes in there this time bro.. I changed out the rez early this week and feed recommenced dose and seems as if the Ph has stabilized :D . I read that " flowering time" count really don't start untill the first flowers start to show , so if that is true I am actually only into like week 2 / 3 of flowering instead of 4 .. Aug 1st I switched the lights to 12/12 .. The buds are still growing , maybe I am just paranoid I screwed things up with the tox issue .. Hoping that everything kicks into gear yet and all is still good .. maybe I am just impatient LOL ... I am gonna look around and see when most people see buds gaining size and density on Nirvina's NL .. ;) Thanks
