I had finished germinating a seed. And I had planted it in a small container to be transferred later. Well after a week it hadn't broken the soil so I decided to check on it. The seed hadn't split more at all and the root was gone. So I took the seed out and opened it up and there was some greenish white inside of it. And I was like "oh shit it was fine, why did i have to get impatient?" Well then today I had finished germinating another few seeds and went to plant one, and suddenly there's a sprout about an inch high in the container. It had been in complete darkness for a while but looked pretty good other than being very pale in color. Now it is possible this was just contamination, like just another kind of plant seed. But I'm not really sure. Now if it by chance the seed had just kind of separated from the root and some vital parts or something. Would the stress of being in fairly consistent darkness for about a week of gross cause enough stress that i should just throw it out, because it will probably be male. Or no?
