Strawberry Blue___Quest to never pay for bud again!

Starting this journal a little late. I'm 4 weeks into 12/12 on some Strawberry Blue from World of Seeds. I have it in a 2 gallon pot with Roots Organic soil and the Fox Farm lineup of nutrients all with a 400w light. This plant grew taller than I would have like so I've done some supper cropping for the first time. Started by accident but I figured what the hell it fix's the problem. The battery in my camera is dead so I will post pics tomorrow. Here is a breader pic.:weed::weed::weed:

Here's the pictures I promised. I just finished up some northern lights autoflower plant, so I am taking my time with this one plant. I'm going to try and get as much out of her as possible. I'm trying to never pay for weed again.:weed::weed::weed:

Another couple of days and some fatter buds. I'm starting to see a lot more crystals on this plant than the last strain I grew. More like the Super Lemon Haze I grew. Should turn out to be some good smoke. Really trying to push the nutrients this go round as well, almost double strength per gallon. I haven't seen any nute burn before just a little yellow, so I'm sure she can handle it.

And here is my NL autoflower that I'm going to put outback for some back up smoke. I just harvested one 2 weeks ago and It's almost cured. Good smell and taste, can't hurt to have a little variety around. Again I'm trying to not have to pay for bud, only for the joy of making my own.:weed::weed::weed:

I have to say I like the NL auto I just harvested. I got 44 grams off a plant that was 9 weeks from from seed. It was short easy and tastes good. 3 of these would be almost 5 oz's every 2 months roughly. Only problem is you can't clone an auto so it's a lot of seeds.(at least I don't know if you can clone an auto) Anyway I'm just trying to maximize my time and space, but I do love connisour type buds. It's going to take a few trial's to see what works better.:weed::weed::weed:

I'm subbed ... i've grown out SB twice and it's a fucking amazing smoke ...probably my top 5 favorites. Do this shit man! i never cloned her but this bud is the shiiiiiiiiiiittttttt. i'm excited for you.
also ...i grew mine out with the same set up almost. Roots dirt, FF liquid trio ... go easy on the P my man ... she can burn easily if you hit it too hard with bloom food.

It's really starting to take off in there now. Even though I had to super crop by accident the main cola, it's still doing fine. Should do well on harvest day.:weed::weed::weed:

I was really excited when I found this strain. I'd never heard of it, but I'd heard good things about the breader. I had a craving for some good strawberry bud so I got online and decided on this one. I'm very happy I did. Thanks for the info on sensitivity to p. She seem to like the extra so far. This last time I pushed it farther than I ever would, and I saw a little nute burn so I'm taking it easy and gave her a good flush. New pics tomorrow when the light's go out.:weed::weed::weed:

Hey J-chron she's looking nice man. I'm starting some of my own actually (she's just a seedling at the moment) but I'm trying to be prepared since they grow up so fast. I was wondering what the smell is like. Is it a really noticeable bud smell(skunky) or is it more fruity and hard to figure out? I pose the same question to you Ataxia. I'm growing in a closet on the second floor of my house and have sealed the door to the room with some good weather stripping but I want to know ahead of time if I'm going to need to get a charcoal filter. Advice is appreciated. Peace.

I guess it depends on the pheno you get ...like i said i only grew out two beans and they both had the same smell for the most part .... it's hard to say how strong the SB itself is due to the fact that it was in a room with other STINKY plants .... but i think on it's own it gives a mostly fruity smell ... tangerine like almost ....like you have a truckfull of fruit sitting in the room ...it may be noticeable but not an MJ smell per se....
.... having said that ... when you cut and cure ....the bud DOES gain a skunky undertone and a bag of it will light up the place to high heaven ......
my only issue with it was ...if i had to transport it ...it was a bitch to cover any scent of it.
It's goooooood bud... i can't stress that enough ..especially for any sativa/sativa dom lovers.

also tips on another good strawberry stain .... Sagramatha's - Strawberry D-Lite ( Strawberry Diesel x NYCD) .. i had no problems but many have complained of hermie issues. Had a great strawberry flavor with diesel being the dominant flavor .... also Holy Smoke Strawberry Diesel( Strawberry Cough x NYCD) is supposed to be a top notch smoke

Thanks man. It's really only the grow I'm worried about the smell of so much. The last stuff I was growing was monster stinky so that's part of the reason I picked this strain this time. I love skunky buds myself but I DON'T love unwanted attention(do any of us?). From the sound of it yours smelled pretty much what I'm hoping for. Unthanks on top of that though because now I'm looking forward to it even more! ;-) I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas after having seen the best present ever sitting in my parents closet. :weed:

Ataxia covered it pretty well. Not to bad in the tent, but When I open the door it get's me excited. I have a a carbon filter and fan and even though I don't have to worry about smell, I like that it's all contained.:weed::weed::weed:
