Can anyone tell me if stress can make a plant finish early.I have a plant thatshould have at least 3 weeks left but it looks finished(8wk strain in 5wks)is this posible or do I have some sort of faster finishing pheno. The stress was caused by me deciding to super crop it after it was already in the flower tent for a week is there any way this has made it finsh early??? Thanks to anyone who could tell me.

I know I stressed my entire flower room out this cycle. I should have harvested 3/25. they are still going. :( im hoping Ill harvest in 5 days? fingers crossed.

but ive never heard of stressing the plant to finish early. what did you do so I can try it on my flower room. there was a guy who said he finished in 35 days by using MOAB. we ALL called BULLSHIT. he had to substantial proof.

I have ALWAYS wondered.... will stressing a plant increase thc count?

I know that the older the plant gets the more the trichs will get damaged, there is a point of diminishing returns.

However, the question still stands, if stress slows down maturity, does that mean that the plant is packing on more trichs than it would if it wasn't stressed at all?

Or does it all remain the same and it will finish the same way regardless?

Well I don't know what is going on but the plant seems to be mature but it sholdn't be done for three more weeks.I never supercropped before and did it in the first 2-3 weeks of flowering and now at the end of 5 weeks(on female seeds bubblegummer)the bud seems mature(all pistols have gone deep orange and crystals are mostly milky).I don't want to pull it too soon but don't want to let it go amber.Just trying to figure what could have caused such an early finish.thoght mabe it had to do with supercropping so far into the flowering cycle or if anyone out there could point me in the right direction as to why and if i may be able to duplicate this result.Or have I just gotten really lucky and gotten a very early pheno of this strain???

I just remembered one other thing about that plant is I veged it a long time so I could clone from it and it showed pistols the wholetime from about week 4 on in the veg tent at 24/7 light as are all the clones that I have of it.

I have and the crystals show it is ready almost all milky and no amber.I have 2 questions now will it go by if I leave it 3 more weeks and could this have happened by something I did or did I just get a lucky seed that is going to finsh in 5 weeks.

almost all milky means about 2 more weeks. you want to try for a 80/10/10 (cloudy/amber/clear) if at all possible. when I see 5 amber in my 30x scope, that's when I give them ph h20 only, wait about 3 days, then 48hrs of darkness, then harvest. sometimes my timing is off, so I just ph water, then again 2 days later, then harvest.

I do know that with cannabis and many other flowering plants (like roses), calcium deficiency will induce early senescence.

So yes, there are things that can stress a plant into finishing early.
