STRONGEST STRAINS

A lot of people call it medicine but they're really just using it to get high.
Forreal. Californians realized that they couldnt get legal weed, but by making it medicinally legal, they would be able to strictly control who could and couldnt buy it. The fact that it actually helped people with chronic and severe illness was secondary, and it wasnt really a secret, but it fucking worked.

Now, Missouri of all places has recreational weed. Its garbage legislation, but its pretty wild none the less.

Give me a 15% thc pure sativa over a 35% thc indica any day.

Strongest sativa? Original Haze, Tom Hill Haze... of course, good luck growing that indoors, and sifting through many plants to find good examples.

Personally, once the thc numbers go over 25% I am dubious. Those results can, and are, manipulated, and are marketing nonsense for social media hype bois.

Also "strongest" is completely subjective.
I agree completely with your statement of the 25%+ results. Maybe it is true SOMETIMES. I loiter around a buddy's dispensary (med+rec) and watch most consumers go directly to the test numbers and buy the one that's listed highest. As a grower, I'm looking at much more than that one metric. A strain doesn't do me much good if it is prone to mold or other problems, and sometimes a decision between "A" and "B" just comes down to what's easier to trim and process given all other things being equal. Even economics is important in my selection. I just ordered again from SENSIBLE SEEDS premium selection. I buy 25 beans, get 25 free and then go on a pheno hunt. Buying packs of three gives me no chance to really judge a strain and get a keeper. Just saying...more that just the number from the lab is only one factor...and even that number is quite often questionable in it's reliability.

What makes a strain strong, high THC or a high that last for hours? To find the strongest strains, look for the ones that are sold out. Nanny nanny boo boo, you can't have it. Just kidding.

It's a fool's errand though. I've had great luck with "knockoffs" of popular strains but I must admit that it was worth it to pay a little extra to get S1 Tropicana Cookies when I finally found them.

I think combining a few strains into a joint is one of the most enjoyable smokes. 3-4 (or more) strains all broken up in a grinder at the same time and rolled up. The taste and high are unbelievable.
I think that's a great idea. I don't have a couch lock strain in my pantry and I have been wanting to document some blend experiments. Gotta buy some more beans.

The Night Nurse and the OG kush from their premium selection are both good if you haven't tried them yet. I received a bunch of both as freebies from a couple orders I've made with them. I've been growing the Night Nurse for years now and have made more feminized seeds of it to give to friends to grow. I have one friend that wants nothing else.

Master Kush seems to be a lot of different strains from different breeders after finding 3 totally different plants out of the first 4 listings at Seedfinder. Are we speaking of a select Hindu Kush?
Name a popular strain and you're going to run into this problem. I got some Humbolt seed company GSC fem freebies, my buddy allegedly has the clone only cut, and I'm going to grow both of them eventually just to see how markedly different they are.

I've been going through a few strains from Lucky13 and have been pleasantly surprised. The breeder himself is a medical user and he describes the effects for his crosses and their medical application. I started testing with the Snow Angel and the Space Skunk. The Snow Angel kicks my ass, leaving me in a dreamy state of peace and relaxation, yet I can still function. The Space Skunk is still curing, so I haven't tested it much yet. I just chopped down the Angel '98, which yielded some of the fattest, densest buds I've ever grown. I can't wait to try his Deep6ix next. This may be something you're looking for:

BTW seeds are very high-quality so far from what I've seen - 100% germ rates.
cheers

I'm going to clarify my answer. I think there are 2 different 'strong' types of strains.

1. Usually Indica, knock you into a lazy state of mind and lock you to the couch, sleepy

2. Usually Sativa or hybrids that produce a psychedelic experience, paranoid, anxiety, mess with your mind, tripping type of experience

I would say #2 constitutes 'stronger'. There are some good landraces that claim to do this, Durban Poison, Thai, etc. Also Hazes and Jack Herer strains like Cindy 99.

I compiled a list a while ago from information I got online on trippy strains. I can't vouch for it's accuracy but I'd be willing to bet its more correct than not so:

Aceh – Trippy, strong landrace strain from Indonesia
Acid – A racy acid-trip like inducing diesel cross
Alaskan Ice – Reputed to be one of the most powerful, heady strains around
Alaskan Thunderfuck – A creeper strain that packs a potent head rush
Amnesia Haze – So strong it makes smokers forget
Apollo 11 – A super potent Jack Herer psychedelic strain
Apollo 13 - A super potent Jack Herer psychedelic strain
Arcata Trainwreck – One of the most well known psychedelic strains around
Big Sur Holy Weed – A powerful, psychedelic strain from California
Belladonna – Well known for inducing paranoia
Black Domina – A strong indica with paranoia inducing properties
Black Magic African – Reputed to be one of the raciest strains around
Casey Jones – A racy diesel cross
Cinderella 99 – Well known as one of the most racy strains around
Clockwork Orange – An Alaskan Ice hybrid with devastating mental properties
Columbian Gold – An old school strain with a reputation for inducing paranoia and racy thoughts
Destroyer – With Thai and South American ancestry, this strain is reputed to ‘destroy’ the mind
Dr Grinspoon – A unique sativa with a racy, strong high
Durban Poison – An African strain with a reputation for inducing paranoia and racy thoughts
East Coast Sour Diesel – Well known to induce paranoia in unsuspecting users
Exodus Psychosis – A racy, paranoia inducing skunk variety
Ghost Train Haze - A super potent psychedelic strain

Juicy Fruit/Fruity Juice – Reputed to induce paranoia
LA Confidential – A strong indica with paranoia inducing properties
LSD – Reputed to induce an acid-trip like experience

Mullumbimby Madness X Thai 78 – Very strong sativa with mind numbing potency
Nanan Bouclou – A landrace reputed to have serious paranoia inducing properties
Nebula – Reputed to induce paranoia and racy thoughts
Nigerian – An old school strain with a reputation for inducing paranoia and racy thoughts
Punto Rojo – An old school strain with a reputation for being trippy and inducing paranoia and racy thoughts
Romulan – Reputed to be so powerful it can ‘dent your head’ like a Romulan
Schrom – A very strong Columbian Romulan mix that is known to cause paranoia and hallucinations in some smokers
Snowcap – A strong indica with paranoia inducing properties
Strawberry Cough – Psychedelic strain with extremely long lasting high
Super Silver Haze – One of the most notorious paranoia inducing strains around
Taskenti – A trippy strain from Uzbekistan
Texada Timewarp – A strain reputed to warp time, this heavy hitter popular outdoor strain in BC packs real potency.

Bruce Banner (FastBuds) I just harvested a few weeks ago is punching like a ton of bricks. It went 98 days too, though.
Darkhorse just posted on IG the Fast were fake af.
can you not make more oil with a 35% strain than with 12% strain?
I don’t think so. If you check out dab logic there dumper cut is a Hazelnut Cream (think they’re about to replace with a Hazelnut Piff) and she drops higher then the GMOs which are generally 30+. Not 100% though. They say the cream is like an 8% cut. First class also recommends Tokyo Snow over Ze Chem and I’d guess Ze Chem would be higher but maybe it’s because the snow cost twice as much. Pretty sure it has to do with trichome sizes and shapes but hopefully someone else has a stronger answer.
