Science is the first to admit there is no truth, only scorched and constantly assailed Theory. When you say truth, I hear woo. You are seeking a higher knowledge than Science, yes?

Yet, it is precisely why we have govt. To preserve the greater institutional, above top secret understanding of this Nation's enlightened self interest, we have elected Stewards of the Ship of State. But, the govt, are just folks, most are hired, even appointed, have lives, families, watch TV, etc. We are the govt., remember? Whatever your opinion about how we got here or where we are, it's us. Only us. No one is really running the show. It's a loose affiliation of millionaires and billionaires, oligopoly vs new money. Our Govt manages somehow, to reduce the vendetta, to not perhaps completely bloodless, but very behind the scenes. And it manages to maintain some world peace. Britannia before us, Rome before that. As much as I can tell, that is as far back as world peace goes. Before the Pax Romana, Warlord/Vassal regions, Sparta, for example, after Rome more Warlords.
If we the People don't have other People trained in the hard jobs of National Interest, we will soon have no Nation. We would have Warlords. If there is something that can upset the balance, it doesn't matter what it is. The job is to decide to not reveal it. It is simple, Everything, including Liberty leads to Tyranny. Peace in this world is the only thing that matters now. The weapons are just too vicious.
To me, it is exactly a model of the books 1884 and Brave New World, now add the Matrix. Yipes, I mean it has already happened. The facts are stranger than fiction.

Tell that to all the inventors who have been jailed or worse- suicided. Or in the case of someone like x Gov Jim Trafficant who went to jail on trumped up charges (because he refused to play by their rules). In case you hadn't noticed, the majority of the world is controlled by war lords, who will stop at nothing to protect their archaic self interests. We are not talking about inventors or warlords, were talking about chemistry. Science is transparent, the work can be shown. Apparently you have seen the work yourself in which case you can show others, and if news has reached you it seems likely that other scientists could also gain the info and do the work. If you haven't seen the work, you can't do the work, can't show the work...it doesn't work. You talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

IMHO we're talking about knowledge/technology that is intentionally being kept from us by OUR OWN GOVERNMENT, presumably for our own benefit
But let's talk about water for a moment. The detrimental effects of chlorine, ammonia and flouride are well proven, and yet government regulation requires them in our municipal water supplies. We drink, cook and bath in it daily. H2O2 is more effective and cheaper, and of course harmless
Am I to take it, that as far as you are concerned that if it is not reported in the main stream media/science/medical journals then it can't be true?

Why so defensive about staying on topic? The thread is clearly labeled to be about water. You are free to suggest tangents, and I am free to resist them, as I did.
That is how you are attempting to frame it. When asked for evidence you substitute boogiemen. Water is something we all have access to, and apparently this information is available enough that stoners can get hold of it and discuss it on websites, so how well are these govt forces suppressing the info? What's to stop other's from exploring the theories, repeating the experiments?
Again, you would like the conversation to take this course. You apparently like to play the part of whistle blower. I am simply asking for the science behind the claims made about water.

There are rules. The rule of Law. We are at War. Economic War. And why not just leave out the archaic "In case you haven't noticed...", self interest of your own ego. I told you that. All forms lead to Tyranny. Even Liberty, even the Rule of Law.
Warlord is the big step down from Federated Democracy. Laws are complex and served only through money. Without balance, there will be blood. Warlord starts with and is served through blood. I stipulated all that you say is so shocking. But, I say it is not. It is Realism. There are many stories. Bloodless stories. The guy who invented the TV had it stolen and locked up for the rest of us by Big Business and WW2. So what? We have TV. In private hands it could become a different tool. It never got a chance to. Hey and if you don't like the Law. Go out and make some on your own.
But, you are seeking a higher knowledge. Like Indiana Jones? You can reveal the truth, someday, maybe?

No one owns threads. There is the OP, not you, even. You are seeking truth. This is not the truth section. It is Science. No truth here, as I've said. It has nothing to do with truth or mainstream. It is the acid bath. The career burn. The scalding peer review. If it can make it to a peer reviewed publication, it is worth considering. No one is selling in there.
They have conducted real work, and now they get the very real, very experienced skeptics, to prove them wrong. That is science. The proof of what is WRONG. That does not even come near to reveal truth. It only shows the things that are possibly Not Wrong, at present. It doesn't make it truth.
Seekers of truth are philosophers. We have a section for that. Philosophers are armchair Monday morning quaterbacks that fret about the way things "should be." A complete waste of time, imo.
